One week after Zooey Deschanel and her husband Jacob Pechenik announced they were splitting up, the actress is said to be dating “Property Brothers” star, Jonathan Scott.

“It’s new, but they are having a lot of fun together,” a source told People magazine on Friday.

Photos captured by Hollywood Life also showed Deschanel, 39, and Scott, 41, two holding hands this week.

The two also filmed a “Carpool Karaoke” segment earlier this year alongside Scott’s brother co-star on their HGTV show, Drew, and Deschanel’s sister Melissa.

Deschanel and Pechenik were married for four years.

“After much discussion and a long period of contemplation we have decided we are better off as friends, business partners and co-parents rather than life partners,” the couple said in a joint statement to Page Six on Friday. “We remain committed to our business, our values and most of all our children. Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time.”

They are parents to 2-year-old Charlie Wolf.

Scott was engaged to Jacinta Kuznetsov but the two broke up in April 2018. He was previously married to Kelsy Ully.

Reps for both Deschanel and Scott did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
