Britney Spears is reminding fans not to forget about her after she went on an “indefinite work hiatus” earlier this year.

The message came Friday afternoon via Instagram, with the “In the Zone” singer sharing photos of herself hitting the stage alongside a note for fans, reading, “I hope y’all haven’t forgotten about me!!! I’m taking this transition in my life to focus on what I really want.”

“I’ve been working nonstop, well, since I was 8 years old in the business. Sometimes it’s good to stop and reflect!!!!” she added. “Miss you all … I really do have the best fans in the world !!! #fbf.”

The 37-year-old performer announced a work hiatus in January, putting a hold on her Las Vegas residency, “Britney:Domination” to care for her father, Jamie Spears. After the announcement, drama involving her conservatorship ensued, including rumors of her being held against her will, a stint in a mental health treatment center, and most recently her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, accusing Jamie — who has been in charge of her conservatorship for years — of being abusive towards their son just this month.

Jamie was cleared of the allegations.

“I am dedicating my focus and energy to care for my family,” Spears said in a statement at the time of her hiatus announcement. “Thank you to all my fans for your continued love and support during this time.”
