Nearly a year after legally tying the knot, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin exchanged vows in front of friends and family at the Montage Palmetto Bluff waterfront resort in South Carolina on Monday, PEOPLE reports.

Their nuptials created some controversy prior to the big day when hotel guests were annoyed that the venue closed off some of its amenities due to the Bieber wedding.

However, the Montage responded to complaints by offering guests refunds, alternate bookings, upgrades, and a free dinner, TMZ reported.

Last week, the model was seen celebrating her bachelorette party in West Hollywood with pals including Kendall Jenner.

Bieber, 25, and Baldwin, 22, quietly married in a New York City courthouse last fall.

They got engaged at a resort in the Bahamas in July after only a few weeks of dating, however, the duo has been friends since childhood.
