Time to add another royal wedding to the calendar.
Princess Beatrice is engaged to boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, the palace announced Thursday, revealing the proposal took place in Italy earlier this month.
“The Duke and Duchess of York are delighted to announce the engagement of Princess Beatrice to Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi,” Beatrice’s parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, said in a statement.
Beatrice, 31, and Mozzi, 34, a multimillionaire real estate magnate, also gushed about the exciting news on Instagram.
“We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement. We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to be married,” the future newlyweds shared.
Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie, 29, later congratulated the couple on her own Instagram account as she shared a few photos of the pair, as well as a close-up shot of the bride-to-be’s ring.
“Beabea – wow! I’m so happy for you my dearest big sissy and dear Edo. It’s been a long time coming and you two are meant to be,” Eugenie, who wed Jack Brooksbank last year, wrote.
Beatrice made her first public appearance with Mozzi in March at the National Portrait Gallery’s 2019 Gala. He has a 2-year-old son from a previous relationship.
