A 'Villains' Clip, A Promise About 'The Invisible Man', And The Name Of James Wan's New Horror Film
Get ready for horror news because October is nearly here and I LOVE HORROR MOVIES.
Villains is an interesting horror flick starring Bill Skarsgård and Maika Monroe as a couple hiding out from the police. They break into a home where Jeffrey Donovan and Kyra Sedgewick live and find that they aren't the only bad hombres in the residence. Here's a new clip for the movie, which opened last week.
Leigh Whannell (Saw, Insidious: Part 3) directed, wrote, and produced The Invisible Man for Blumhouse Productions. Filming just concluded on the flick and Whannell took to Twitter to "underpromise" on its quality.
Guys, remember to underpromise and over deliver. The Australian way of marketing is to say "it's gonna be terrible" and then surprise people. Actually, I'll leave the selling to you. Ahem. As you were. https://t.co/PPqdaQviGo

The Invisible Man stars Elisabeth Moss and opens February 28, 2020.
Finally, the name of James Wan's newest horror film has been revealed: Malignant. The film stars Annabelle Wallis (Annabelle) and is said to be a hard R-Rated, old school horror movie not based on existing properties. Some sites are speculating it is related to Wan's own graphic novel, Malignant Man, released in 2011. We won't know until it hits theaters next year, barring any setbacks in filming.
