Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino Just Had a ‘Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion’ Reunion!
As I'm sure you know, 1997 was the best year for high school reunion movies, ever. By that I mean it gave us two of the best, Grosse Pointe Blank and Romy and Michele's High School Reunion. Name a year that gave us better high school reunion movies. You can't!
A case could be made (and yes, I have made it in the past at a bar in between shouting for the DJ to put on Weird Al and finally play "some real music!") that 1997 was the best year for movies, period. I firmly believe that because the year that gave us Con Air, Face/Off and the two movies mentioned above is the de facto winner. Hell, the year that gave us Con Air is already the de facto winner, the rest are just gravy.
You might be wondering what this whole thing is about, and perhaps you've guessed that this is all just a lot of word padding to share one social media post, and if you've been thinking that, you're absolutely right. But believe me when I tell you this post will be worth it.
Yes, like I said in the title, Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino had a Romy and Michele reunion!

I have very fond memories of this movie because my mom pulled me out of one of the last days of 6th grade to go to an afternoon showing of it on a Friday afternoon, and more than 22 years later, that is still one of my favorite memories of my childhood of all time. This was my first R-rated movie in the theaters, and honestly, it would be everyone's because Romy and Michele are eternal. Obviously-- just look at them in 2019!
Mira Sorvino also posted basically the same picture, only from her account, but how often are those two pictured together, so let's look at that one, too!
This warmed the cold cockles of my '90s-kid heart, and I hope it did for you, too. If not, well...I guess you're the Rhoda in this situation, aren't you?
