Caleb Hammond, an 11-year-old Iowa boy dying from terminal cancer, requested to have the casket at his funeral decorated with racing car stickers.

GoFundMe: Caleb’s Army

After the treatments he’d been undergoing at a Des Moines hospital stopped working, Caleb’s parents made the difficult decision to bring the 11-year-old home to live out his final moments surrounded by family.

Caleb has been in love with the world of auto racing since he was 2 years old. It all started when he visited his uncle at his home, which was near the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa.

nypost

His uncle, Chris Playle, said that he and Caleb would watch as drivers parked their cars on the street before the track opened. The two would then run to the stands to watch the race at the speedway.

“He’s my racing buddy. It was kind of our deal,” Playle said. “I probably had just as much fun as he did.”

After Caleb’s simple request went viral, Playle said stickers started pouring in from all over the world. The amazing show of support has helped keep their family’s spirits up, as they are all “just trying to do as much as we can with him while he’s here.”

Then on Saturday, Caleb experienced how it felt to be behind the wheel.

oskynews

He got to suit up and speed around a dirt track inside a car designed for children, with a 12-year-old racer beside him, helping Caleb to navigate the track and drive a stick.

Caleb’s father, John Hammond, said, “A goal of his was to be able to drive a race car when he got older.”

“It’s like a dream come true,” he added.

A young black girl was expelled from school after being told her hair extensions violated school policy.

Faith Fennidy, a sixth-grader from Christ the King Middle School in New Orleans was in tears when the school kicked her out due to her braids.

In a video recorded by her brother, Steven Fennidy, the young girl can be seen holding back her tears as she exits the school campus with her family.

Steven said on a post on Facebook that her sister’s hair extensions were for practical reasons.

“Extensions make the hair easier to maintain. It allows my sister to have access to the swimming pool without having to get her hair re-done every night,” his post said.

“This policy was communicated to all parents during the summer and again before the first day of school,” Archdiocese of New Orleans Schools Superintendent RaeNell Houston said in a statement to media. “Furthermore, the school leadership worked with families as needed to ensure compliance.”

But many netizens were angry at the policy saying it was unfair and racist.

It just happened again.

Again I ask, where can we exist? Schools are actually refusing to educate young black people because of our hair. You are not educators. You are the problem. This will not stand. https://t.co/SG3EMqego8

A 3-year-old boy and his 1-year-old brother survived alone in a deep ravine, amongst the wreckage of a car crash that killed their mother.

The young children were possibly fending for themselves for several days before they were found.

cnn

Local authorities in Camden, south Arkansas were alerted to the situation after receiving a 911 call about a young boy seen walking by himself along a state highway Monday morning.

The boy, Kylen, was found with some cuts and scrapes, but otherwise unharmed.

euronews

Ouachita County Sheriff’s Detective Nathan Greeley, one of the first officials to meet the boy, said the tiny survivor seemed desperate for the comfort of human contact.

“He just wanted to hug me,” Greeley said. “And didn’t want to let go.”

While the original date of the crash was presumed to have been on Saturday, further investigation points to the accident having occurred as far back as last Thursday. This could mean that the toddlers would have been on their own for as long as four days before being located.

They were finally rescued on Monday, in an incident Arkansas authorities described as a “miracle.”

cnn

When the police went back to the scene of the accident, they discovered that the mother—Lisa N. Holliman, 25—was ejected from her driver’s seat upon impact. Thankfully, her 1-year-old remained strapped in by a seat belt.

Officials found no water or food within the vicinity of the crash.

“They went through pure hell,” Greeley said. “It is completely amazing that not only did they survive that long, but that the 3-year-old was able to walk out the way that he did.”

Greeley said the vehicle had been at the bottom of the ravine and could not be seen from the road.

euronews

“Had [the boy] not he done what he did, his brother probably wouldn’t be here right now,” Greeley said.

A man was detained while he was rushing to bring his wife to the hospital on Wednesday.

Joel Arrona-Lara, 35, was driving his pregnant wife, Maria del Carmen Venegas, to the hospital. But they stopped to get gas and were approached by ICE agents.

NY Times

The ICE agents demanded identification from the couple. The woman was able to present her identification but Arrona-Lara didn’t have his on him since they were rushing to the hospital.

Venegas was suffering from preeclampsia, a complication with high blood pressure during pregnancy. Since Arrona-Lara could not present identification to the agents, he was detained.

The officers put him in handcuffs and took him into custody, leaving the pregnant mother at the gas station alone.

NY Times

Emilio Amaya, who is acting as Arrona-Lara’s legal representative said that other than his status as an undocumented immigrant, he has no criminal record in the US.

The ICE agents also disregarded Venegas medical condition.

NY Times

“Even though the officers knew that she was pregnant, they didn’t really care and they still proceeded to do the arrest,” he said. “So for us, on top of the unjustified arrest is the fact that they compromised the well-being of the child and the wife.”

Venegas was left to drive herself to the hospital where she was scheduled for a Cesarean section. The woman gave birth to their son alone.

A police officer from Argentina was praised for being a hero when she breastfed a neglected baby at a hospital.

Celeste Ayala was on guard duty at the Sister Maria Ludovica Children’s Hospital in Argentina when an infant arrived. The child was crying and the hospital staff couldn’t attend to him right away.

Twitter

Since the staff was overloaded with work, Celeste decided to take care of the infant. The child had his hand in his mouth and was evidently hungry.

So Celeste then asked permission if she could breastfeed the baby. When she was given the go signal, she hugged him and fed him with no hesitation. Though the child was described as “dirty” by hospital staff, Celeste didn’t care and her mother’s instinct kicked in.

“I noticed that he was hungry, as he was putting his hand into his mouth, so I asked to hug him and breastfeed him,” Celeste said.

“It was a sad moment, it broke my soul seeing him like this, society should be sensitive to the issues affecting children, it cannot keep happening.”

Celeste’s friend, Marcos Heredia, took photographs of Celeste breastfeeding the baby and posted them online. The pictures went viral and netizens lauded Celeste for the act.

Hoy recibimos a Celeste, la oficial que amamantó a un bebé en el Hospital de Niños de #LaPlata para notificarle su ascenso. Celeste, who volunteers as a firefighter, was also praised by her department.

“’We want to congratulate the voluntary firefighting cadet Celeste Ayala who yesterday in her job as police officer whilst she was on guard duty at the hospital, breastfed a young child who arrived crying.”

“Actions like these fill us with pride and obligate us to redouble the effort, the work and the solidarity with our community.”

A friend Antonella Romano commented: ‘I didn’t expect any less from you! You are not just a great woman, but a great mother. What pride, those who know you, know that everything you do is with.’

Chris Street, from northern Saskatchewan, recently posted a terrifying video of a black wolf-like animal attacking a dog in the woods.

The footage was taken near the fishing lodge where Street works as a fishing guide. He said that it’s not uncommon to see bears in the area.

Wolf attacks our lodge dog pic.twitter.com/lPOsekky2g

— chris street (@chrisdstreet) September 28, 2015

But just by looking at the figure hiding behind the trees, seemingly stalking the dog, the creature wasn’t a grizzly.

“I shot this video on one of our trails around the lodge,” Street said.

“We get a lot of bears that come around the lodge but this year we had a black wolf that started to come around for a few days.”

“We spotted the wolf through the window of the kitchen in the lodge and I made my way outside with the camera. The lodge manager Dan went for the shotgun.”

“When I started to take pictures the wolf left, then returned a few minutes later and that’s when Trigger took after the wolf. The wolf waited for Trigger to turn away from him and that’s when he grabbed the dog in the back end and threw her up in the air right in front of me,” he added.

“Dan shot the shotgun into the air and that broke the fight up. The wolf turned and left, we followed the wolf into the bush and shot again to scare him off.”

While the end of the video may have not shown what happened after the fight, Street assures that the dog is none the worse for wear.

“The wolf came back two more times that day looking for the dog we think. Trigger had a few good wounds and cuts but she is fine now,” he said.

It’s likely that the creature was a timber wolf, a type of black wolf which named so due to their color, which was a result of wolf-dog hybridization from thousands of years ago.

Americans Jay Austin and Lauren Geoghegan, both 29, were killed while cycling through Tajikistan, an area known to be near “ISIS territory”.

The couple strongly believed that evil is a make-believe concept, which some say partially contributed to their tragic end.

Instagram: @simplycycling

During their stay in Morocco, Austin wrote:

“You watch the news and you read the papers and you’re led to believe that the world is a big, scary place. People, the narrative goes, are not to be trusted. People are bad. People are evil. People are axe murderers and monsters and worse.”

He added, “I don’t buy it. Evil is a make-believe concept we’ve invented to deal with the complexities of fellow humans holding values and beliefs and perspectives different than our own.”

Instagram: @simplycycling

“It’s easier to dismiss an opinion as abhorrent than strive to understand it. Badness exists, sure, but even that’s quite rare. By and large, humans are kind. Self-interested sometimes, myopic sometimes, but kind. Generous and wonderful and kind. No greater revelation has come from our journey than this.”

Back in June 2017, Austin wrote in his personal blog, saying, “I’ve grown tired of spending the best hours of my day in front of a glowing rectangle, of coloring the best years of my life in swaths of grey and beige.”

Instagram: @simplycycling

“I’ve missed too many sunsets while my back was turned. Too many thunderstorms went unwatched, too many gentle breezes unnoticed.”

Austin and Geoghegan quit their jobs for a year-long bike trip around the world. Austin, who was a vegan, worked for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. On the other hand, Geoghegan was a vegetarian who worked in the Georgetown University admissions office.

The couple was able to travel from the southernmost tip of Africa in Capetown, South Africa, to Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Egypt, Morocco, Spain, France, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

Then, on July 29, 2018, their trip eventually led them to Tajikistan, where they were murdered along with two other cyclists, one from Switzerland and the other from the Netherlands.

news.com.au

A grainy cellphone clip of the incident showed a Daewoo sedan passing the four cyclists, before making a sharp U-turn. It runs at full speed, straight for the bikers, ramming into them and driving over their fallen bodies.

Two days later, ISIS released a video showing five men it identified as the attackers, sitting before the ISIS flag. They face the camera and make a vow: to kill “disbelievers.”

abcnews

Scott Stewart, a vice president for tactical analysis with a geopolitical intelligence firm, said that Tajikistan had always ranked as medium for a terrorism threat, “and, quite frankly, the attack hasn’t changed that.”

Stewart also mentioned a similar attack that occurred last year in New York, when a terrorist riding a rented truck ran over nearly two dozen bicyclists and pedestrians near a bike path. Eight people were killed that day. “These sort of attacks can happen across the globe,” he said. “There have always been dangers in the world, and you can’t just not go everywhere where you might be attacked, or you wouldn’t go anywhere.”

Still, “that doesn’t mean that you should ignore the threat of terrorism,” Stewart added. “You need to be careful, you need to do your research before you go.”

A suicidal man was about to jump off an interstate bridge in St. Paul, Minnesota when two beer deliverymen saved his life.

The unknown man was about to jump when Jason Gable and Kwame Anderson were driving their truck past him. They spotted the man on Wednesday morning clinging to the outer fence of the bridge and asked him if he was okay.

Facebook

Authorities said that Anderson tried to talk to the man and negotiated with him. He reportedly used tactics that Denzel Washington used in the movie “Inside Man” to build rapport.

Then Anderson asked the man whether he wanted to talk his problem over a beer. He offered the man a Coors light and the man slowly climbed back to safety.

Police arrived at the scene and closed the interstate until the man came down. He was then taken to the hospital to be assessed.

Since the announcement, tributes and loving messages have started pouring in.

“I spoke with her family members this morning. She is asking for your prayers at this time. I’ll have more details as I’m allowed to release.”

It’s been reported that the legendary soul singer’s condition has been taking a turn for the worse in the recent years. Back in 2010, several reports confirmed that Aretha was fighting pancreatic cancer. According to the singer, her health issue was already “resolved” by January 2011, although another source argued that Aretha continued to struggle with her cancer over the years.

This may have led the Memphis-born star to decide to leave the music world for good back in 2017.

One source close to the singer claimed that “she could go at any time,” claiming that her body weight was down to 86 pounds.

An Iowa teen was supposed to start his freshman year of high school, when he suddenly died of a rare disease.

14-year-old Christopher Bunch, a football player, complained of a headache after football practice. His mother initially thought it was just dehydration.

Facebook

But, when the teen spent the next 48 hours sleeping, his parents were alarmed. They knew something was wrong.

They took him to the hospital where he was immediately confined to the ICU. Doctors diagnosed Christopher with acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, a rare autoimmune disease. ADEM rapidly targets the brain and the spinal cord, and Christopher’s condition took a turn for the worse.

Within a matter of hours, he stopped breathing on his own. His father Elijah Bunch said that from that point on, everything just spiraled downhill.

“His progression went from zero to one hundred in a matter of four hours,” his father said.

The teen passed away only a few days after his diagnosis. The disease is so rare that there were only six cases diagnosed by Iowa doctors this year. ADEM affects children more than adults. This usually happens after a bacterial or viral infection such as a sore throat or cough.

On August 12, Christopher’s father posted on Facebook that the teen had passed away.

“We are so upset to say this, but our gorgeous son Christopher Bunch has gone to be with God at 1:02pm,” he posted. “Please Lord look over my son and take good care of him. My son I love you so much and I will always and forever love you and keep you in my heart.”

As of Tuesday afternoon, a fundraiser for the family has raised more than $16,500. Elijah Bunch expressed his heartfelt gratitude to those who supported them in this difficult time. He mentioned that his son wanted to be a famous vlogger on YouTube one day.

“Well my son Christopher Bunch your dream is coming true buddy,” the father posted. “You now have over 3,000 views on your vlog on YouTube. This is only the beginning my boy. Just make sure that in heaven you are vlogging like crazy. Dad loves you always and forever my blonde hair blue eyed boy.”

A fundamentalist Christian private school in Florida has recently been making waves online, but not in a good way.

In a video that has now gone viral, one irate parent complained that his 6-year-old was denied by the administrators of A Book’s Christian Academy in Apopka, Florida, from attending his first day of school.

Facebook: Clinton Stanley, Jr.

The footage, taken by Clinton Stanley Sr. himself, shows school personnel telling the father and his son, CJ, that the child could not be enrolled because of his hair.

Since being posted on Monday, the video has now received over 278,000 views and accumulated over 4,000 reactions and 2,000 shares on Facebook.

“The first day of school and I have to withdraw my son—that’s crazy,” Stanley said. “That’s disrespectful and bias. I should have been told this months ago.”

The heartbroken father said that he and his son arrived early at the school for orientation, but were immediately kicked out because of CJ’s dreadlocks.

“She told me: ‘We don’t allow boys with hair below their ears. We don’t allow dreads,’” Stanley said.

The school handbook indicated that the dress code requires boys to wear their hair short, which includes no dreadlocks.

According to Stanley, CJ was excited to start his first day of school, and that their unfair rules snuffed out his son’s enthusiasm.

“I never heard of these different complaints, because if I did I would have never put him this kind of situation,” Stanley said. He wants the school to issue an apology.

Rod Love, Orange County Commissioner, said, “I’m not vilifying Mr. Stanley, I know our children are our weak spot. We all have rules that we need to follow.”

Love stated that the private elementary school has received threats because of the viral video.

“They’ve got so many calls, threats and law enforcement has been here,” said Love. “It’s unfortunate we have to address something like this.”

If you think installing washing machines and dryers inside a high school is unusual, think again.

It’s actually West Side High School’s ingenious idea to prevent bullying and solve the problem of constant absenteeism.

wnyc

According to Principal Akbar Cook, some students were being given a hard time because of their dirty clothes. Some kids would take photos of a classmate’s dirty collar or stained pants and share them on social media.

This resulted in them avoiding school, sometimes missing three to five days in a single month.

wnyc

The principal even remembers one time a student refused to have her bags checked because she was embarrassed to be carrying dirty clothes while she was homeless.

“They were choosing to stay home rather than coming to school to be bullied or ridiculed,” Cook said. “We didn’t know until we started making calls,” home to find out why students weren’t in school, he said.

So Cook decided to take action right away. He booted the football team from their locker room and had washers and dryers installed.

nj

I was his way of fighting for the students who can’t afford to wash their school uniforms due to financial difficulties at home.

“Because the kids feel that and they’ll fight on that SAT or that test the same way you fight for them,” Cook said, who’s only been elected to the position two weeks ago.

nj

“That’s who I am.”

The PSEG Foundation generously offered their help by providing a $20,000 grant for the appliances: five washing machines and five dryers.

“We take things for granted that are easy for us. He (Cook) doesn’t,” Ellen Lambert, previously a president of the foundation, said. “You want everyone to succeed, especially young people.”

“He finds those places where success doesn’t happen and he figures out why and he goes after it.”

Cook also set up a program wherein the kids can work on STEM projects and explore academic interests with a teacher while they wait for their laundry.

nj

When people in the community found out about the project, they started donating dryer sheets and laundry detergent. Soon, students will be able to do their laundry completely free.

“I refuse to let a kid come to school smelling or dirty and I’m sitting on a shirt that says ‘West Side on it,” Cook said.

On the same day that 4-year-old Jeremiah Dickerson was told that he would be adopted into a loving family, he also found out that he was going to be a big brother. What a fantastic double surprise!

Jordan Dickerson, the boy’s new mom, met Jeremiah in January 2017 while he was staying at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.

Dani Brewer Photography

She works there as a pediatric nurse.

“We fell in love with his smile and his joy,” Jeremiah’s mom told Good Morning America. “We just knew he was going to fit in our family. There was no denying it.”

Dani Brewer Photography

At the time, he was waiting for a family to take him in. But because of his condition, he had to have medical professionals assist with the trach tube he wore.

This made Jeremiah’s search for a family an even harder ordeal than most.

“I knew there was something different about him,” Dickerson said of her son. “I couldn’t get him out of my head. I called my husband and said, ‘Pray that we can bring Jeremiah home.'”

When Dickerson learned that Jeremiah already went home with another foster family, she was heartbroken.

“I knew that he was supposed to be our son, so I was confused and upset,” she said.

But during an anniversary trip with her husband, Cole, her fellow employees at the hospital called to tell her that Jeremiah had returned.

Later, the Dickersons went through the necessary foster care training and background checks, just so that Jeremiah could come live with them.

Dani Brewer Photography

Finally, on June 2017, the happy couple was able to bring him home.

A little over a year later, on July 16, 2018, they officially adopted Jeremiah.

Dani Brewer Photography

The ceremony was held at a Tennessee courthouse.

Dani Brewer Photography

During a photography session held afterwards, Jeremiah proudly posed with a sign that said: “Today I became a Dickerson. Up next… big brother.”

Dani Brewer Photography

“It was an emotional day,” Dickerson recalled. “In the end, Jeremiah has blessed our family more than we could ever imagined.”

With his baby sister set to arrive sometime in January 2019, Jeremiah has plans to teach her how to play baseball, basketball, and dance as well as he does, Dickerson said.

When Robert Goodman, a 10th-grade teacher from Palm Beach Gardens High School, ran out of sick leaves while undergoing surgery for colon cancer, he didn’t know how what he would do.

Luckily, the 56-year-old had a great support system in place—coworkers at the school who agreed to donate their remaining sick days.

local10

Goodman, who lives in West Palm Beach, already missed 31 consecutive days of school for the operation. But with 6 more months of chemotherapy ahead of him, he was at a loss on how to juggle work and treatment.

So he went on Facebook, and asked his fellow teachers if they had any leftover sick days they could offer.

And the response was quick and overwhelming.

Educators from different parts of Florida reached out to Goodman to donate. Teachers, staff members, administrators and even professors from Florida Atlantic University, all chipped in to help.

In the span of four days, he received enough sick days to get him through one whole semester’s worth of absences.

“The reaction was absolutely incredible,” Goodman said. “I was surprised by the volume of outreach, but I wasn’t surprised that teachers were giving. Because that’s what teachers do, we give.”

Goodman has been a teacher for more than 25 years, and spent 23 of those at Palm Beach Gardens High.

saleonlinevn

Dawn McKeich, a teacher at Timber Trace Elementary School in Palm Beach Gardens, said, “I wanted to donate because I was really sick three years ago and my fellow teachers stepped up to the plate to help with my classroom and my own children at home. I wanted to pay it forward.”

According to a spokeswoman for the school district, 75 days had been donated in total. Now, Goodman is qualified for catastrophic leave.

“I was hesitant to reach out for help at first, because there are a lot of people doing far worse than I am,” Goodman said.

This bear has good taste!

A young bear cub who looked like he was craving for pizza paid this Tennessee restaurant a visit.

Carolyn Ball, a waitress at Howard’s Steakhouse, said that the black bear cub helped himself to a customer’s pizza after they left the table.

“Last week, we had a bear climb up a tree from the creek and onto the patio where some customers were eating. The bear surprised them. They obviously got up and left the food on the table. The bear stood on the table and ate a pizza,” Carolyn said.

It’s no surprise that the bear cub came wandering around as black bears are known to roam the area which is near the great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Carolyn posted the pictures on social media with a caption jokingly saying that the patio was “pet-friendly”.

But some Facebook users weren’t very happy about what they saw. They suggested to Carolyn that she should have tried to make the bear leave instead of taking pictures.

But Carolyn said she didn’t want to mess with the bear saying, “I let it finish the pizza because I don’t want to mess with a bear when it is eating. I don’t want to be attacked or eaten myself. At that point, it was already on the table eating the pizza, so just let it finish and then ran it off.”

Biologist Dan Gibbs from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency agreed with backlash on social media.

“If you have a bear that has already lost its fear of people so much that it is climbing on a crowded patio in the middle of the day, it is not going to reverse that behavior.”

“Bears escalate their behavior, so this was a bear that has worked its way up to doing this. It didn’t just decide one day to go to a restaurant.”

“The first thing [people] need to be doing is trying to make as much noise as possible to deter that bear from coming up any closer,” Gibbs said. “You need to make it a negative experience and try to scare the bear away.”

After the incident, the patio was closed for a couple of days until the bear could be trapped.

A man has accused staff at a Las Vegas pool party for being homophobic after he was thrown out for wearing a bathing suit that was “too gay”.

Chris Donohoe was reportedly forced to leave the Encore Beach Club pool party on Sunday because of his choice of swimwear. He believes it was an act of discrimination as Chris identifies as a gay man.

The general manager of the club approached Donohoe and they had a confrontation which the latter posted on Facebook.

But Donohoe posted a video to his Facebook page with the statement:

“I was made to leave the pool for wearing a Mr. Turk bathing suit that they said was not ‘in integrity’ with the brand of the pool party. In other words, I was kicked out for being a gay man wearing a bathing suit that was just a little too gay for the Beach Club Encore Las Vegas to tolerate.”

“I feel that this is discrimination and harassment based on my gender identity and sexuality. I feel this way because there were women at the pool wearing thongs and other bikini bottoms that were much more revealing than my own, yet they were permitted to stay and I was removed.”

In the video Donohoe can be heard saying, “As far as I understand, the policy is no Speedo’s, and this is not a Speedo.”

The general manager then replies that his swimwear was against the “dress code policy” of the pool party. He also stated that it was not “in integrity” with the Encore Beach Club brand.

When Donohoe accuses the club employee of discrimination, he responded with, “Sir, this has nothing to do with your sexual preference.”

According to Donohoe, the pool club has not apologized for their discriminatory behavior. But a spokesperson at the club has said that the clothing policy has been changed since the incident.

“We will include the new policy on entry signage, as well as the club website, in order to help guests plan appropriately and enjoy a welcoming environment. We apologise to the guest who was affected by our previous policy.”

He said that the club welcomes LGBT+ people, insisting that its rules for removing guests from events are based on behaviour and clothing.

This was not the first time that the same pool club has discriminated against the LGBT+ community. In the summer of 2017, a guest was swinging on a pole at an Encore Beach Club pool party.

He was pushed off the platform by an employee. He was reportedly told by staff that only women were allowed to swing on the poles at the party.

After the incident the pool club made a policy change allowing men to also dance on platforms if they choose to. The employee who pushed the man off was reportedly dismissed.

His parents had to make the heartbreaking decision of turning off his life support machine.

Friends and family gathered to pay their final respects to the teenager. But the pain of his loved ones was encapsulated in one photo when his girlfriend Stephanie Ray gave him one last hug.

She shared the photo on Facebook along with her message: ‘Blake was someone special to me and we had something special and we will always have that. Me and Blake had our ups and downs but we always got through them.’

But just know Blake wasn’t in any pain and he passed away with his family around him and he will forever be missed and he will always have a special place in my heart and I will never forget you Blake fly high my baby boy and I’m gonna make you proud love you and I always will.’

He stumbles and walks towards the passenger side of the car where he kicks the window in.

Lorin then steps out of the vehicle to confront him, but he approaches her and grabs her aggressively, pushing her down to the ground.

During the incident, there were two men who looked to be acquainted with the attacker. But they walked away and did nothing to stop the man from attacking Lorin.

A group of people surrounded the pair and tried to intercede. It is unclear whether Lorin has pressed charges against the man. But she made it a point to share the violent attack on Twitter to spread awareness.

The video was shared over 11,000 times on Twitter, with users reacting to the man’s ridiculous behavior.

Men are always so quick to be aggressive when they feel their masculinity is being diminished. I'm so sorry this happened and I'm glad you are ok.

Aside from having extensive damage to her car, Lorin sustained bruises from the incident.
