Gia Giudice is a bonafide Real Housewives of New Jersey friend-of at this point. She’s grown now and is ready to follow in Teresa Giudice’s footsteps, whether fans like it or not. She and Gabriella Giudice didn’t hold back in the latest episode when expressing their feelings about Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga feuding with their mom. It’s a new version of Giudice vs. Gorga with the same old problems. Gia is ready to play.

Gia was Tre’s right-hand woman on her big wedding day. The Gorgas couldn’t be bothered to show up. Apparently, Jennifer Aydin spreading some cheating rumors is enough of an excuse for Joey to not attend his only sibling’s wedding. It’s really very pathetic. While I’m sure Gia has plenty of opinions about the Gorgas skipping the celebration, she also has plenty of good things to say about the RHONJ royal wedding.

When Tre got married to Luis Ruelas, she opted to walk herself down the aisle. Rumor has it Joey was supposed to do it, but I’m sure that will be another feud for a future RHONJ episode. In a recent interview with Page Six, Gia praised her mom for some of the choices she made on her big day. She did not mention Tre’s giant hairdo, which is important to note.

Gia’s favorite part of the entire wedding was when Tre walked herself down the aisle. Since Tre’s father passed away, Gia apparently offered to escort her mom to Luis at the altar. “There’s not many women that could say they walked down the aisle alone,” Gia said. “The strength that it took … [She] looked so beautiful and seamless doing it.” The love between Tre and her four Dorters cannot be fabricated, that’s for sure.

After praising her mom, Gia also shared her and her sisters’ approach to handling the Gorga drama this year. “Especially around the time of my mom’s wedding, we were just like, ‘I think it’s time to let bygones be bygones, put it in the past, and just focus on our family and focus on us,'” Gia said. Let’s be clear that Gia made this namaste comment before feuding with her uncle on Instagram, so it’s obviously an ebb-and-flow situation.

And then there were three. Alissa Humber’s surprise termination on the latest episode of Below Deck left the interior crew down a member, with a very demanding group on board. And the second stew was stellar at mixing drinks and generally wonderful at her job. So the question of justification arose as well as comparisons between her firing to that of deck/stew Camille Lamb.

If the perceived slight of calling the captain by her first name was indeed intentional, Captain Sandy Yawn could have let it slide or given Alissa a warning. Multiple pep talks by Captain Sandy and chief stew Fraser Olender were bestowed on Camille. She stuck around for three plus charters with her bad attitude. So why the double standard?

Alissa has negative emotions towards her firing and took to social media to voice her truth. The post has since been deleted. And according to RealityBlurb!, she may not even “show up” to the Below Deck reunion.

“If I don’t show up for the reunion (I became extremely unhealthy mentally during and following the show) this is what I would’ve harped on,” Alissa posted.

Some fans are rallying to Alissa’s defense and questioning whether her speedy termination had anything to do with bias. The Florida native shared a select comment from a follower who suggested that.

 The fan wrote, “It’s crazy that Camille could speak to [Fraser Olender], Ross [McHarg], and Rachel [Hargrove] disrepectfully and not do her job plus drink expensive client alcohol but gets fifty-eleven changes. But Sandy … trying to find a problem with the interior crew [before] you stick up for them and it’s immediate insubordination and you get let go… I’m tired of ppl saying race isn’t a factor on these shows.”

Another contradiction was the manner in which Camille exited the boat versus Alissa. Why was Alissa so closely guarded after leaving the bridge? She certainly didn’t have the “luxury of gallivanting around the boat after” as Camille did.

Many fans are not happy with Sandy’s management style in general. This follower labeled the environment as “toxic,” and called Camille “someone who was actually insubordinate.”

And Alissa was, frankly, wonderful at her job so there was certainly no valid complaint on that front. The post concluded, “You were never given the opportunity to reset. And I’m sorry for you and all the black people in these environments who go through the same thing.”

Alissa finished her social media activity by responding to someone who asked if she would ever join OnlyFans. She responded, “Y’all f**king wish. Not happening.”

A broken heart emoji summed up Alissa’s feelings at the end of the post.

One of us! One of us! Believe it or not, Katie Rost from The Real Housewives of Potomac is just like us! 

Late last week, Katie made a post to Instagram and revealed to her fans and followers she landed a minimum-wage job after her time in rehab. From the bottom of my heart, you go girl! 

Page Six shared the announcement, which included a selfie of Katie at her new job. Along with the pic, Katie wrote, “Jesus Christ, I started working, like a real job. I just got off of an 8 hour shift working minimum wage. I feel like a real person instead of a reality tv person; I made $14 an hour, … Keepin it real.” 

Katie’s work-life selfie was taken in the vitamin aisle of a store. She’s dressed super casual, in a hat, quarter-zip, and beaded jewelry. 

In the comments of her post, Katie revealed her new gig is at the Bethesda Co-op. It’s an organic market in Cabin John, Maryland. She said, “we are kinda granola and hippie but kinda awesome. Way better than Whole Foods!” She even invited a fan to stop by for a visit in the comments and wrote, “Come say hi.”

Katie’s followers and fans gave her nothing but love in the comments. We love an authentic Housewife, former or current, after all. Personally, I would much rather watch Katie work an 8-hour shift at a cash register than one more group event at a walk-in Botox clinic.

One fan commented, “I’m impressed. Not only does this require humility, which is probably one of the most important and best qualities a human can have. What you’re doing is also important.” A second person added, “Gotta pay the bills. Nothing wrong with that.” 

Yet another follower gassed Katie up saying, “We are rooting for you Katie! This is awesome. This is what healing looks like! And you make it look GREAT! We are SO proud of you!” 

Katie began her 30-day rehab program in October of 2022. She was admitted to “kick alcohol and Adderall in a medical setting.” At the time, Katie shared with her followers that she had been taking Adderall since the age of 12 to treat her diagnosed attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

“There is no shame in admitting you have been prescribed things and those things are now hurting you physically,” Katie wrote in a since-deleted social-media post, per Page Six.

Mazel to Katie for being relatable, unpredictable, and genuine all at the same time. Keep doing you, boo!

Tom Girardi has been indicted by a grand jury and charged with five counts of wire fraud. According to Page Six, the Department of Justice announced that the disbarred attorney allegedly embezzled approximately $15 million from clients. Tom reportdly used the ill-gotten gains to fund payroll and personal expenses.

But Erika Jayne’s ex was not operating alone. Christopher Kazuo Kamon, the former chief financial officer and controller at Tom’s law firm Girardi Keese, was accused of lying to clients regarding their settlement funds.

Details of how the pair operated has been outlined by the DOJ. Tom and Christopher supposedly told clients they could not receive their settlement until other requirements were resolved. These requirements included resolving purported tax obligations, medical liens, and other debts. Also, clients were told authorizations from judges were needed.

In one instance, Tom obtained a $17.5 million settlement for a client who was paralyzed in a car crash. The financial compensation was awarded in July 2019. Yet the alleged victim never received the full amount. Some of the payout, totalling $5,119,449 was allegedly deposited into a bank account that Tom controlled.

Tom’s alleged accomplice is in federal custody, while Tom remains at a senior living facility in Orange Country, California. Due to his declining health from Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, Tom brother, Robert Girardi functions as his conservator.

Robert’s lawyer did not respond to Page Six‘s request for comment.

According to the DOJ’s press release, Tom could be facing up to 20 years in prison. This is due to the involvement of the FBI and IRS Criminal Investigation agency in his case.

“Thomas Vincent Girardi should have been a pillar to our community. Instead, he is accused of creating an elaborate scheme to mislead his clients, victimizing them for a second time,” Special Agent in Charge Tyler Hatcher of the IRS Criminal Investigation’s Los Angeles Field Office said in a statement.

Mr. Hatcher added, “Attorneys are put in a position of trust when they represent us during some of our most difficult times. Mistrust in the legal profession grows when clients can’t trust their attorneys to pay them the settlements intended to make them whole.”

He concluded, “IRS Criminal Investigation, along with federal prosecutors and our law enforcement partners, will continue to seek to keep the legal profession honest.”

The State Bar of California has been questioned for ignoring hundreds of complaints filed against Tom. The lack of action resulted in “serious failures” that supposedly should have seen Tom disbarred.

Chairperson Ruben Duran of the State Bar’s Board of Trustees made a statement on the matter in November 2022. As reported by Page Six, he said, “[He] caused irreparable harm to hundreds of his clients, and the State Bar could have done more to protect the public. We can never allow something like this to happen again.”

Alexia Echevarria has made one thing clear on Season 5 of Real Housewives of Miami — she was born a star. Now, that’s not a justifiable excuse for the Cuban Barbie’s actions toward some of her co-stars at times, but she’s not wrong. Alexia is an OG of RHOM who never holds back in sharing her life for the world to judge. It’s evident by the way she shows her journey with her son Frankie Rosello following his accident. So despite her questionable antics, I just can’t quit her.

As RHOM Season 5 is sadly winding down, Alexia and her bestie Marysol Patton appeared on Watch What Happens Live. They had plenty to discuss from the current season. But Alexia also took the chance to respond to fan comparisons of her and another Real Housewives OG.

It’s almost too easy to compare Alexia to the Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice. They’re both queens of their respective shows who have showcased some tough moments on TV. Alexia and Teresa are fiercely loyal to their family and have sharp tongues that tend to get them in trouble. From Season 5 alone, we can see Alexia’s Tre-like behavior when she’s bickering with Nicole Martin or refusing to apologize to Adriana De Moura. Now, according to RealityBlurb! , Alexia has something to say about her perceived similarities with Tre.

Alexia is well aware that fans have been calling her the Cuban Tre. “I actually think it’s a compliment because I happen to know her and we’ve become really good friends,” Alexia explained. Yeah, that’s a match made in Bravo heaven. Alexia went on to compliment Teresa’s passionate attitude and strong role as a mother, citing their similarities. I can only imagine how entertaining I’d find a conversation between Alexia and Tre. Bravo should have a spinoff where Tre teaches Alexia Italian cooking and Alexia does the same with Cuban food. I’d eat it up (literally).

Before Alexia could continue praising Tre, Marysol cut off her bestie before she got a little too close to the RHONJ queen. “Don’t get too cozy,” Marysol quipped. I love how Marysol and Alexia always have each other’s backs but aren’t afraid to admit they annoy the hell out of one another. Alexia assured her friend that no one could take her place, but she has room in her life for another bestie. Considering Teresa’s recent relationship-ending feuds, Alexia could be a good new friend in her life.

But I’m completely tired of these repetitive storylines and inauthentic displays. I’ve reverted back to some staples, like Season 38 of The Challenge. And please hold on tight for my final selection. 

Sunday – Real Housewives of Potomac

Let’s all pour one out for Real Housewives of Potomac. It was fun while it lasted. And with this week being the season finale, I’m concerned for the future of Real Housewives altogether. That’s how inauthentic this season was. In any event, this Sunday we are going to see Karen Huger and Charisse Jordan Jackson showdown once again. Then we’re going to sustain Candiace Dillard Bassett’s music video release party. Just another filming event for Chris Bassett to storm out of Gordon Ramsay style. See you there!

Thursday – Real Housewives of Miami

The women on Real Housewives of Miami are going to attempt another cast trip, but this time Alexia Echevarria and Nicole Martin are going to be showing up as friends. Last week, things heated up as Nicole and Alexia’s husbands got into it during their Gringo dinner. The women were able to make nice, and I’m sure this new alliance will either shake up the cast dynamics or crumble apart as quickly as it was formed. The teaser for this week’s episode showed Alexia standing up screaming with a hoarse voice over one of the cast-trip dinners. Should be a good one!

Episodes are released Thursday on Peacock.

Wednesday – The Challenge Ride or Dies

I only just started this season, and am only a few episodes in. It’s going to be my binge-of-the-week. The Challenge is a staple for most reality viewers, especially if you like a competition-style show. This season has cast members from Challenge seasons past, Big Brother, Survivor, and even The Mole. There are also some surprise drop-in appearances that totally shake the house up. Unfortunately, it looks like Tori Deal and Devin Walker-Molaghan make it pretty far this season. But you should at least tune in to enjoy the view TJ Lavin.

Streaming – The Traitors

Another binge for your week. Peacock is coming through for us reality TV fans right now. Their content has been a breath of fresh air, while still giving Bravo-vibes. The Traitors features 10 reality stars and 10 “regular” people. Contestants compete in physical and mental challenges for a chance to win a quarter of a million dollars. There’s also a group of saboteurs who work to play mind games on contestants and create mistrust among the cast. There are Bravo-lebs, former Survivor contestants, and former Big Brother stars too! 

All 10 episodes are available to stream on Peacock now. 

Sunday – MILF Manor

Yeah– I said it. I’m planning to see what MILF Manor is all about this week. That’s how desperate I am for a reality TV shake-up. This one was sent to me by a friend’s husband wondering if TLC may have finally taken novel reality TV too far. Is there such a thing? Let’s find out!

This is a campy dating show that hosts eight older women/MILFs hoping to find love with a younger man. In one of the first episodes, the women realize their eligible bachelors are actually their sons. There’s even a challenge where they sus out their own child’s abs while blindfolded. Join me if you dare.

Bachelor alum Sarah Herron and fiancé Dylan Brown have suffered an unfathomable loss. Their newborn son Oliver, who was born prematurely, died “in his dad’s arms” just hours after his birth. “His body was small, but his legacy will always be larger than life to us,” Sarah said, while announcing the sad news.

“On January 28th, at 24 weeks old, our beautiful son Oliver Brown was born. He passed away in his dad’s arms shortly after,” Sarah wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. “There are no words for the magnitude of loss and pain we’re experiencing.”

She added, “Oliver, our IVF miracle, defied so many odds and fought through so many hard milestones to be here . . . Our time together was short, but we are grateful for the days we had with Oliver in my belly.”

As reported in Us Weekly, Sarah is cherishing all the adventures she and her unborn son shared during her pregnancy. They swam with sea turtles. Oliver kept her company while she healed from breaking her knee. She shared that Oliver “loved his dad’s cooking” and “his morning routine of laying heart to heart” with her dog, Rio, on her lap.

The post included several photos from the Sarah’s pregnancy journey. Most poignant among those photos was a black and white picture of the couple cuddling their son in the hospital as he lay on his mother’s chest.

“While our hearts are shattered beyond comprehension, we are comforted knowing that our son’s soul only ever knew love and will not suffer in a body that wasn’t built for this life,” the Bachelor in Paradise alum continued. “We’ll never understand the cruelty of it all . . . We love you so much, baby boy. You will never be replaced.” She added, “You are so perfect and awesome. Love, Mommy and Daddy.”

Sarah and Dylan, who have been engaged since May 2021, are in no rush to tie the knot. They announced their pregnancy in September 2022. The former cast member from Sean Lowe’s Bachelor season had been very open about her IVF journey. She defied common wisdom by disclosing her pregnancy before the end of her first trimester.

“I know many families prefer to keep pregnancy private until after the first trimester, but I have shared [the] entire fertility journey since day one,” Sarah said at the time. “One of the blessings of IVF is the support I have gained by being transparent about this process.”

Though his life was short, little Oliver was deeply loved. I’m sure he will always remain a part of their family.

Jen Shah’s absence from the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion forced her co-stars and host Andy Cohen to speculate the hell out of her motives and decisions this past season.

Jen avoided the conversation, and subsequent interview with Andy, in a bid to control the narrative. As if her 15 minutes of fame will outlive her 6.5 year prison sentence.

So the cast was left to speculate about some of the burning issues from Season 3, such as why Jen pleaded guilty in July 2022 after proclaiming her innocence for over a year. And how she financed the entire legal enterprise.

People reported that Heather Gay, Jen’s “ride or die,” was asked to explain Jen’s change in plea. She theorized that the couple were running out of funds to defend her case in the telemarketing and fraud scheme.

“I really feel like it was financial and they saw something that was like, ‘Listen, it’s not worth rolling the dice because it’s going to be so expensive and if it’s not a clear win, we can’t risk it,” Heather shared. “She said the cost of trial was astronomical. Just to get the transcripts it was $2000 a day and the cost was overwhelming,” she added.

Apparently, Jen and husband Coach Sharrieff Shah begged friends and acquaintances for loans. “They solicited friends for money and a lot of our friends gave them money,” Heather said. “I did not give them money but I know people on this couch did.” She clarified her remark, adding, “Not right now.”

Lisa Barlow revealed that she and John Barlow were approached by the Shahs. “They asked John. They asked me,” Lisa said. “I didn’t because our counsel said we probably shouldn’t, otherwise, I would’ve.”

And what of Jen’s self-proclaimed bestie? Heather also declined to help Jen. “It was very expensive and a lot of people came forward with money,” Heather said of Jen’s financial predicament. “I can’t. I can’t do that to my family.”

The RHOSLC ladies agreed that they felt Jen pleaded guilty to protect Sharrieff.

“I thought about that,” Whitney Rose said. “If that was true, that makes sense. Sharrieff is a lovely person and he’s always so on, right? Sometimes that struck me like it was almost too good to be true,” she added.

Lisa believes Coach Shah must have known about Jen’s dealings. She said, “They have to file taxes together. It’s possible that he had knowledge.”

Whether Coach knew of her telemarketing scam prior to Jen’s March 2021 arrest is unknown. According to Heather, he was meticulously involved in preparing for the court case.

“I don’t know the first thing about their relationship,” she said. “I think that it’s pulling on a thread. I don’t think you could be so supportive if she was implicated because we were there with them and it was like he wanted to read everything,” the Beauty Lab owner added.

Meredith Marks offered Jen tremendous support during Season 3. Almost to the point of fans questioning her motives and/or sanity. During the reunion she proclaimed, “Guilty, innocent, in between, I will always root for the underdog.”

So who will stand by Jen now that she is headed to FPC Bryan Prison in Texas on February 17, 2023? Heather revealed that she will be in contact with Jen and her family in whatever capacity they request. Perhaps even to visit her in prison.

“It depends on where she goes,” Heather said. “I will write her if she wants that and I will look in on [son] Omar and Coach and I don’t know.”

Wow! This week’s episode of Below Deck was full of surprises! For one thing, the mid-season trailer had me completely fooled. I thought our new Deck/Stew was going to be a woman who Ben Willoughby had previously dated/shared nudes with/probably been way too interested in for no reason. Not only is our new Deck/Stew Tyler Walker a whole man, but he also pointed out that Ross McHarg is a whopping 38 years old! Someone tell me I’m not the last to know. I know this guy was ripe for judgment already, but after four decades on earth, he’s really asking for it.

The New Deck/Stew Is Here

Welcome, Tyler! Fraser Olender seems more than thrilled to have someone on board who knows what they’re doing. Meanwhile, Ross is just excited to have a South African on board to talk about his history of surf lessons and arrests. Pick him, pick him!!

Tyler says he likes the “weird parts” of yachting. He’s a guy who boasts a self-diagnosis of OCD, and his swift folding skills are all the confirmation I need. Hayley De Sola Pinto agrees too. She’s utterly thrilled to have someone who works quickly and without an ear-piercing saccharine voice. Or maybe that’s just me. All in all, Tyler is a perfect fit for the St. David interior crew. But that doesn’t mean Captain Sandy Yawn won’t find something to nail them for.

Feedback From The Clients

Sandy just loves to take a client’s side when they are dragging the interior crew. During their departure, these guests let it slip that they were underwhelmed with the level of service the interior was providing while they were a man down. They mentioned a “few little hiccups” along the way, like needing to find someone to make drinks.

Prior to the tip meeting, Tony Duarte kindly reminds Fraser that everything is a group effort, and the comments from the guest are not a reflection on him personally. During the whole-crew recap, Sandy reminds everyone that guest feedback is just that. Feedback. Wise indeed. Sandy felt the guest commentary was constructive and decides to give the crew the next day off to party and entertain we-the-viewers. She also decides to take Chef Rachel Hargrove out for a meal to get more dirt on the interior. All the while Alissa Humber is back on the yacht sobbing after getting one comment/direction from Fraser. Buckle in, people. She’s startin’.

Camille Is Coming To Dinner

Dun dun dunnnnnnn. Camille Lamb shows up on Ben’s arm during the crew night out. Alissa is absolutely dumbfounded and simply cannot keep Camille’s name/presence out of her mouth/mind at her end of the table. She finds it completely mortifying that Camille has joined the crew for her last night in town. Alissa seems to think Camille showing up means she regrets nothing about her time on board. Not that she’s planning to ask or anything. Alissa assumes Camille blames her for being let go and is therefore unwilling to speak to her at all. Camille seems completely unbothered to be fair, and I honestly believe she just wanted another chance to say goodbye to her former crew/a couple of new friends.

Camille and Ben have a heartfelt goodbye and that’s where it ends. I hope to see you at the reunion Camille! I’m dying to hear your reaction after watching yourself back.

Ross Booked A Romantic Guest Cabin For Katie

He really shouldn’t have. Ross and Katie Glaser certainly sound like they sealed the deal in a guest cabin after the crew night out. She really put him through his paces…and yet. The hook-up comes after Ross adamantly refused to re-arrange rooms in order to share with Katie. Instead, she’s sharing with the new Deck/Stew Tyler.

Ross literally asks Katie to rate her experience with him under the guise that she has to follow his commands “as a department head.” Vomit. He also admits to being a sex addict with a chuckle in his confessional. Truly repulsive behavior. Not to mention he follows the tête a tête up by heading back to his own cabin and flirting with Alissa openly the next day. Alissa is thrilled to engage despite understanding (and saying out loud to Tyler) that Ross and Katie are “a thing.”

Two Pick-Mes In The Mud

The day after the charter the crew heads out for a day of fun and relaxation. Ross and Alissa are all over each other during their volcanic spa experience. It’s almost like Katie isn’t within 10 feet or something. The entire crew is horrified. Ross tries to hump Fraser during a van ride, and later almost falls off a catamaran while stumbling drunk.

Alissa seems impressed by Ross’ truly concerning behavior, and plucks a flower to put in his hair at dinner. She’s holding his hand, cackling at his slurred jokes, and slamming the validity of Katie’s feelings in her confessional. Later in the hot tub, Alissa proudly claims Ross is “grabbing” her all the time and that Katie has no self-respect. First of all, how is that a brag? Secondly, someone needs to roll the footage for me.

Next week’s episode looks ripe with drama once again! Sandy is after the interior and Ross has some explaining to do. See you then!

Tonight on The Bachelor we have lots of tears and girl drama. So the usual, then.

The Ladies Arrive At The Bachelor Mansion

As the sun rose over the mountains, the massive gates slowly opened at the Bachelor Mansion. A shrieking hoard of woman came running up the driveway. The group poured in the front door and immediately started checking out the amenities.

As the women screamed out from the upstairs balcony, “Zaaaaaaach,” the camera crew located our new Bachelor Zach Shallcross. He was shirtless in the shower, showing off his hairy pecs. Sean Lowe trained him well.

Zach told us in a shower voiceover, “Waking up this morning, I feel so hopeful. There’s already women I’m having really strong feelings with.”

Enter host Jesse Palmer, who arrived to quiz the women (aka stir up their insecurities) on how they’re all feeling so far. The excitement in the room was almost palpable when Jesse told them, “Zach was actually telling me that he really does believe his wife is in this room right now.” The ladies heartily agreed with him.

When Jesse went on to announce that all of the women would be going on a date this week, the screams started again. Jesse added that in addition to two group dates, there would be “one incredibly intimate one-on-one date.” Sighs and awes ensued, as each woman pictured herself in a hot tub with Zach.

And with that, Jesse slapped the first date card onto the coffee table. Greer grabbed the card and announced, “It’s a group date!” Well, duh. They’re not gonna put the one-on-one first. Everyone cheered as if they were happy to go on a date with nine other women. Sounds like SO much fun!

The First Group Date: “Bad Bitch Energy”

Brianna, Brooklyn, Katherine, Mercedes, Bailey, Davia, Cat, Genevie and Kylee were the lucky winners of the first date. They all smiled and tried to act happy, while inside they were dying because they would all be competing over Zach for the entire day. “I’m looking for big, big love,” Zach production captioned the date card. Is Zach going to become a polygamist then? (I loved that show!)

When the women all exited the party bus and entered a club of some kind, a pretty woman with long, dark hair strutted down the runway toward them. The ladies all screamed like they knew who she was. I didn’t have a clue. Thank goodness one of the women yelled, “It’s Latto!” I still have no clue. Oh, apparently she makes some kind of music I don’t listen to.

“What’s up, ladies?” Latto asked. “I’m here to take over the date. I’m looking for some bad bitch for Zach.” At which point, Zach himself burst through a side door, looking like a dentist dressed up as a biker for Halloween. Of course, the ladies thought he was the hottest thing ever.

First test was to find out who could dance. As the ladies spun and twirled, trying their best to catch Zach’s eye. A producer asked him, “Are you a good dancer?” He readily replied, “Nope.”

Brooklyn, a rodeo racer said, “Literally, there’s professional dancers here, and I’m like, ‘I got the rhythm from Oklahoma.'”

Latto makes the shocking revelation, “There’s more women coming on today’s date.” The ladies rightly started to lose their — um — let’s say “composure.” There were already 9 women on the date, and they were not happy.

Three “iconic” (per Davia) Bachelor Nation ladies entered the room: Victoria Fuller (Season 24), Tahzjuan Hawkins (Season 23) and Courtney Robertson (Season 16 — isn’t she almost 40 and married with two kids now?). Latto welcomed them as judges for her Bad Bitch competition, in which each woman had to “strut her stuff” on the runway and explain to Zach why she’s a “bad bitch.” It was as embarrassing as it sounds.

After party! Now here’s where the potential catfights will occur, as the ladies jostle each other for Zach’s attention. Bring on the alcohol!

Meanwhile at Bachelor Mansion, the second date card was delivered. Christina was saying in a production interview that she really wanted the one-on-one. She needed to spend some time with Zach and break the news that she’s a mom. The envelope was opened and the winner of the big One-on-One was — drumroll, please — Christina! “Christina, let’s let our love soar,” the card read. Um, thanks for the ham-handed foreshadowing, Bachelor production. Didn’t see that one coming. And all the other gals pretended to be happy for Christina.

Back at the group date, the other gals were having a love fest, telling each other what a great group they were and celebrating their lack of drama. Dun dun DUN! Was that some Bad Bitch energy I felt approaching? Something evil this way comes –and it’s Tahzjuan! Watch out, ladies.

A Bachelor Nation Alum Wants A Second Chance

Zach was sitting on the couch with Cat, when Tahzjuan marched right up to him. He looked shocked as she said, “Can I grab you for a quick minute?” Cat kept a frozen smile on her face, but you could tell she wanted to scratch T’s eyes out.

When Tahz sat down with Zach and told him she wanted to join the girls at the mansion, he seemed taken aback. Tahz seems like a very confident and powerful woman. She seems like she could easily eat Zach alive. Zach responded with, “Yeah, wow, that a, uh — that’s something new, interesting. Um . . .” Zach was terrified, y’all, and told her he’d think about it. The ladies will not be pleased.

The girls weren’t afraid of Tahz, cause there are 9 of them and only one of her. They timidly approached her, while she was sitting alone waiting for Zach’s return. When Tahzjuan told them she was here to steal their man, the women were not having it. As Zach returned for her, Tahz told the others, “Thanks for the conversation, ladies. It was nice speaking with you.” Not.

Please, Zach, do not keep Tahzjuan. She is too much for you. Tahz needs a guy who can stand up to her, and I don’t think that’s you. She is only there to cause drama with the women, something you said you didn’t want.

When Zach returned to the ladies alone, I was nervous. I thought he was going to tell them that he didn’t have the courage to tell Tahzjuan no. But he did! I’m so proud of Zach. Bringing Tahz into the mansion would be nothing but trouble as a late arrival, and I just couldn’t see them together. Good for him!

All that was left to wrap up the first date was to hand out the date rose. I thought Zach might give it to Brianna, who won “America’s Rose” on the Bachelorette finale last spring. But he gave the date rose to Katherine. Brianna was a little disappointed, but she managed not to cry in front of Zach.

The First One-On-One: Helicopters and BBQ

The next day some of the woman were sitting around the pool discussing “Big Tongue Energy” (re: kissing with tongue vs. no tongue). Katherine revealed the ratio of air to brain in her head, when she blurted out, “Wait! I didn’t know you could kiss without tongue!” And the other girls were all, “Okay, that’s why she got the rose.”

In the meantime, Christina was upstairs getting glammed for her big date with Zach. She claimed to be so excited that “I can’t feel my body.” She said she was looking forward to telling Zach that she’s a mom. She was hoping he’d take it well, and that the suitcase she packed and placed at the bottom of the staircase would still be there at the end of the date.

When Zach picked her up, they drove to a helicopter that was waiting to take them for a ride. (Of course it was. It’s The Bachelor! There must always be at least one helicopter, though it’s a little early in the season). Christina said she’s never even been close to a helicopter before. Please, her aunt is Barbara Mandrell, and she’s never been in a helicopter?! That’s kind of shocking. And of course, as they took off, the helicopter was required to make a low pass by the Mansion to make the other women jealous. It’s a Bachelor rule.

Zach and Christina flirted and kissed while flying over the Hollywood sign and downtown LA. They pretended to be air traffic broadcasters. They kissed “in the clouds.” But they didn’t wear seatbelts. That seemed kind of dangerous to me. (I know. Buzzkill. I can’t help it. I’m a mom). Zach foreshadowed, “If Christina thought riding in a helicopter is exciting, just wait till my next surprise.”

Next stop was Zach’s childhood home, where he promised Christina would meet his mom Megan, his dad Chap, and about 20 other family members and friends. No pressure. She was up for it though, and quickly said, “No big deal!” Apparently Zach had missed his mom’s birthday earlier in the week, and his family was celebrating with a birthday barbecue.

Even though it was a lot for a first date, Christina said it showed how much Zach’s family meant to him, and she was flattered that he chose her to share it with him. She seemed to fit right in and have a wonderful time.

As they walked to dinner together, Christina worried (in voiceover) about having to tell Zach that she’s a mom. Even though her daughter is the thing she’s proudest of, she would be disappointed if the revelation turned out to be too much for him. She was still hoping to get the date rose.

When she finally told Zach about her daughter Blakely May, Christina explained to him how important family is to her and that she was so glad to see at the barbecue how important family is to him. She wanted someone in her life who would be a partner and help her raise her daughter, someone to share the experiences with and “to do life with.”

Christina really surprised me. She’s such a pretty girl and grew up in a relatively famous (in country music) family, but she seems very down to earth and mature for 26 years old. I’m impressed. I wanted Zach to give her the rose. He started hemming and hawing and told Christina that he wants a family someday, but he’s not sure he’s ready right now. He seemed to be building up to tell her he couldn’t give her the rose.

But as scary as the thought of becoming an instant dad was, Zach was already having feelings for Christina and wanted to see where things went. He admitted to wanting to get to know Blakely, too. In one of the most emotional scenes I’ve ever watched on this show, Zach admitted his ambiguous feelings to Christina as he finally offered her the rose. She was also teary, but it was all emotion, not disappointment. I’m not crying, you’re crying!

The Rest of the Ladies Get Their Chance on Group Date #2

Finally the last group date arrived, and all the women who hadn’t yet had a date with Zach got to spend time with him. Everyone was excited. The Bachelor wanted to “keep it simple,” so he took all the women to what looked to be an outside garden, where couches had been set up. He joked that it was “my backyard.” He was looking forward to having a first conversation with all the women he hadn’t yet had a chance to talk to. One by one he led each woman away to his inside sofa (were they in a furniture store?) for a “conversation,” which almost always ended with a makeout session.

Back at the Mansion, two of the ladies (whose names I don’t yet know) were sitting on a couch in the backyard talking about how relatively supportive all the women have been to each other so far. One of them finally admitted, though, that she was upset hearing about other women kissing “my man.” She said she was going to have to start walking away from conversations to save her own sanity.

The women on the group date were talking about the same thing. While waiting for their turns to talk/make out with Zach, one of the ladies suggested using a “taste” of something as a grounding exercise. Another woman snapped back, “Please, if you can taste Zach’s saliva, don’t say it!” The stress was starting to show.

Everyone seemed to be reaching the point where it was no longer fun to hear about the other women’s relationships–especially since they were all dating the same guy. It was time to start focusing on their own relationship and to stop comparing notes.

Gabi (Maple Syrup Girl!) finally got to have her first private chat with Zach. Gabi may have had too much to drink by the time she got to sit down with the Bachelor, because their conversation quickly drifted into odd territory. After saying that she liked to give people nicknames, Gabi asked if she could call him “Zacharias . . . Zacky . . . Zachy-poo?” He seemed a little puzzled and uncomfortable. Poor Gabi admitted afterwards that in her effort to “get everything out” and make an impression on him, she was essentially “word vomitting.” I don’t even think she got that kiss she wanted so badly.

While holding the date rose in his hand, Zach teased several of the ladies by mentioning their conversations and how much he appreciated their being part of the process. Finally he gave the rose to Jess, and she happily accepted it. Good night, ladies. Thanks so much for playing.

Gabi was despondent that she didn’t get any validation from Zacky-Zach. “I shouldn’t have to feel like a worthless person,” she cried to a production assistant. Oh, honey, didn’t anybody tell you that the whole point of this game is to make you feel like a piece of meat?

Finally the Rose Ceremony arrived. In his welcome speech to the ladies, Zach thanked Christina for taking it in stride when he took her to meet his parents on their first date. The women looked shocked. Christina piped up, “I also didn’t tell them that.” Smart girl. Smooth move, Zach. Now you’ve put a target on Christina’s back and sent several of the women into a tailspin.

Gabi got a second chance with Zach at the RC. She was able to tell him how much she appreciated how he always took the time to speak to everyone, even though she still felt a little behind in their relationship. She also remembered that he had said he liked peanut butter cups. She brought him a jarful of them. Sweet move, Gabi! They shared a Reese’s “Lady and the Tramp” style, and Gabi is back in the game.

Brianna was on a “poor me/everybody hates me” head trip. Admittedly Christina did say something thoughtless and mean the first night. When Brianna confronted her, she apologized profusely and sincerely, even though Christina said she didn’t remember saying it. There was a lot of alcohol flowing that night.

Brianna then had a sitdown with Zach. She played “someone said something kind of mean to me the first night, do you want to know who it is?” Zach, thankfully, didn’t fall for it. Brianna told him she’d already gotten an apology (Christina might have dodged a bullet there). After telling Brianna that he has felt like she has a lot of walls up and their conversations have been kind of serious and “not fun,” Zach ended things with a hug. Hmmmm, something tells me Brianna’s not getting a rose.

Jesse arrived clinking the champagne glass of doom and announced it was time to line up for the execution Rose Ceremony.

But Brianna DID get a rose, even though she was the last name called. Why, Zach? I thought for sure she was going home. Cat, Kimberly and (I think) Becca were the rose non-recipients. Bye, girls. Have a nice trip home!

Next week, Jesse promised us more drama. Wait. Zach said there would be no drama.
