Crown Prince of Norway hits penthouse soirée

September 25, 2019

Royalty mixed with commoners when Haakon, Crown Prince of Norway and heir apparent to the throne attended a private penthouse soirée in Midtown on Monday night.

The VIP guest spoke about his Global Dignity charity — which he co-founded along with members of the World Economic Forum — at the penthouse of McGovern Capital CEO Kevin McGovern. He was later seen mingling with L Investments exec Candice Beaumont.

We hear about 70 guests took in a performance by up-and-coming Sony Music singer Elle Winter while sipping on Rutte Genever cocktails.

His Royal Highness is in town on business and has been making the rounds to meet with other royals and ambassadors around the city.

Earlier Monday, he met with Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, and spoke at a lunch for Nordic and Caribbean Foreign Ministers in the Norwegian consul’s residence in New York, according to Royal Central.

On Tuesday, the Crown Prince attended a summit on the UN’s sustainability goals and met with King Abdullah of Jordan.
