Her slate is all filled up.

Actress and comedian Jenny Slate announced Monday evening that she was engaged to boyfriend Ben Shattuck.

“He took me to France and made a picnic and made me feel happy and free and then he asked me to marry him and I screamed YES,” Slate, 37, wrote on Instagram.

“I love you, Ben Shattuck,” she continued. “You are the kindest and brightest and I am so grateful and here we go and keep going.”

“In an abandoned castle in southern France, I asked this woman to marry me,” Shattuck wrote in his own post.

Slate and Shattuck were seen together at Sundance Film Festival in January. He serves as curator for his mother’s art gallery, the Dedee Shattuck Gallery. Their website describes him as a writer and painter and gives his alma mater as Cornell University.

Slate was famously in an on-and-off relationship with Chris Evans: The pair were a favorite of internet commenters.
