Ashley Longshore dazzles Dennis Basso’s NYFW show

September 11, 2019

Ashley Longshore — the official artist of New York Fashion Week — closed out designer Dennis Basso’s show on Tuesday in a one-of-a-kind custom couture organza coat that she hand-painted.

Basso, whom she escorted down the runway, wore a matching pair of painted white Levis.

Basso’s previous surprise finales have included Mary J. Blige and Joan Collins. Lisa Rinna sat in the front row, along with model Carol Alt, who told Page Six, “I think Dennis has a way of making women look and feel very feminine — and very sexy. He has a way with women. He knows how to speak with them and how to dress them.”

Longshore is collected by stars including Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz.
