Sen. Ted Cruz is an outspoken proponent of building a wall on the US-Mexico border, but he went south of the border on vacation.

Spies spotted Cruz with his family at the luxurious Nizuc Resort & Spa in Cancun over the holidays, where he “chilled by the pool” — with a shirt on.

“He was swimming with his shirt on. He didn’t take it off. He was hanging by the pool, enjoying his family. He was super low-key. It was ironic to see him there,” a spy told Page Six.
