After Page Six reported that Dua Lipa “made it rain” when she joined Lizzo at a Hollywood strip club to celebrate Lizzo’s big Grammy win, a battle broke out online over whether Lipa should be “canceled.”

The hashtag #dualipaisoverparty trended on Twitter Tuesday after a user posted a video of the singer tucking dollar bills into a stripper’s thong and throwing cash on the dancer as she knelt in front of her. A typical response read, “Sexualizing women, but well, afterwards they’ll say they are feminists.”

But most fans defended her with one saying, “Isn’t a feminist supposed to support all female jobs?”

It’s not clear why the ire was directed at Lipa rather than Lizzo.
