Marvel’s WANDAVISION Is Coming Out Earlier Than We Thought
Expect to see some hot witch-synthezoid action in 2020.

Disney+ has yet to become a powerhouse in Marvel content, but that is set to change soon. Sooner than we thought in fact. In a showreel the official Disney+ Twitter account tweeted yesterday, the company confirmed that Wandavision -a series previously thought to be coming out in 2021 - will actually be released in 2020. If you haven't been keeping up with your calendar, that's this year.
Now there are two original Marvel Studios series set to debut on Disney+ in 2020, with Wandavision joining The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. It's still unclear what the exact release dates are for either series; thus far, Falcon & WS has been expected to come out in late 2020, although that might have changed if the Marvel production pipeline is going through some kind of fast-tracking. Or maybe Wandavision might swoop in and come out first? Both series began filming in November.
As I've written before, Disney+ launched with a pretty barren Marvel collection compared to how the streaming service has been marketed, so it's a win for everyone involved if they can get out more Marvel shows sooner (assuming they're confident in the work.) Among the Disney+ Marvel shows that have made it to production, Wandavision is possibly the one I'm most interested in, too, so it'll be nice to see what this show is about before Trump gets re-elected and we can't really enjoy things anymore.
