Beauty influencer Jeffree Star has confirmed his rumored breakup with boyfriend Nathan Schwandt.

The makeup mogul revealed Saturday that it’s been “a few weeks” since he and Nate split in a YouTube video titled “We Broke Up”

“We’re both in a state of shock, I’m devastated,” Starr admitted to the camera. “I’m so sad and the love of my life is no longer … I don’t wake up to him anymore. He’s no longer here every morning.”

“This isn’t, like, an internet fight,” he went on. “This isn’t drama, this isn’t tea, this is my real life, and me and my soulmate are really going through it.”

After taking time to reflect, Starr believes Nate’s natural aversion to fame was a huge catalyst in their split.

“It’s been difficult because Nathan never wanted to be in the spotlight, right? We fell for each other when we met and we fell for each other so hard. I’m grateful for him and I’ll be grateful until the day I die because this was the only man who was confident enough to love me publicly, to love me for me, fully, all of my flaws.”

Star also took time to deny reports that his mother passed away while revealing that his grandmother is very ill.

“She’s ok right now, but it was scary to see people make stuff up,” he said in regards to his mom. “Also, my grandmother — 102 years old — Grandma Mary isn’t doing good at all. I need to see her soon.”

Unfortunately, family members have also reached out to the press looking for cash to reveal fake deets behind Jeffree and Nate’s split.

“There are people I haven’t spoken to in years, even before meeting Nathan, that are trying to talk about us.”

For 2020, Jeffree says both he and Nathan — whom he still considers a friend — will be focused on themselves as individuals.

“I will always have love for him. Are we in love with each other? No.”
