Gloria Steinem’s Ms. Foundation held its Night of Comedy at Carolines on Broadway, where comic Julia Shiplett noted of the upcoming International Women’s Day: “Sharks get a full week!”

Other performers included Judy Gold, Michelle Buteau and Anna Drezen, who quipped, “I just overheard a photographer asking Gloria to ‘smile for a picture’ . . . No!”

Steinem’s the subject of a film by Julie Taymor, “The Glorias,” starring Julianne Moore, which will debut at Sundance.
