Look, it's a well-known fact that there are a few, unassailable men on this planet who are objectively beautiful--we all agree on this fact. Their hubba-hubbaness is so widely recognized that I can use their first names, and still you'll know who I mean. Denzel. George. Brad. Idris. Keanu. Chris. (Take your pick, we're not here to argue that today...) The barrier to entry into the handsome man's club is pretty high. However, science has finally reversed the tables on us all by declaring Robert Pattinson as the best looking dude around.

I mean, that's my reaction. I'm pretty sure I know George Clooney's:

Now, I mean, take this news with a massive grain of salt because its origination is The Daily Mail, a tabloid so horrible and trashy that even I can't stomach it anymore, and I love trash. According to ETOnline, this is how they got to that explanation:

As Daily Mail writes, the Batman star's eyebrows, eyes, jaw, nose, lips and general facial shape were measured against the features of other male celebrities, and he apparently came the closest to the ancient Greeks' idea of "perfection." That idea of perfection is determined by using The Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, a technique believed to be used by painters in the European Renaissance.

Since its creation, scientists have developed a mathematical formula "to help explain what makes a person beautiful." And that formula produces a percentage that determines how close to "perfection" someone's face is. Pattinson, according to this formula, came in at 92.15 percent.

R.Patz came out with the best score. I mean, duh. As any fan of Twilight knows, Edward is perfect. Clooney's score was behind Henry Cavill's and Brad Pitt's--Clooney is used to Pitt stealing some of his handsome man thunder for the past three decades, and I mean, just look at Henry Cavill, you can't stay mad at that mug...but Robert Pattinson?

Well, R.Patz better watch his back, all I'm saying. Clooney hasn't stayed on top of the handsome man ratings for as long as he has by playing nice, you picking up what I'm laying down, here? Where the hell did Jude Law go, and why don't we talk about how handsome he is anymore?
