Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman is dating actor Adrien Brody. Gwyneth Paltrow is joking about the Coronavirus, the very reason no one’s kissing each other at Paris Fashion Week. Marla Maples is working with a shaman, while Ian tries to perform reiki on Maggie.
Here’s a closer look at today’s stories:
Harvey Weinstein’s ex-wife Georgina Chapman has moved on with Adrien Brody
While Harvey Weinstein is headed to jail, his ex-wife Georgina Chapman is finding solace in the arms of Oscar winner Adrien Brody.
Rumors popped up last fall that Chapman, 43, and Brody, 46, were dating, and a source close to Chapman confirmed to Page Six they’re still together.
While the designer and the movie star had met and socialized previously, sparks apparently flew when they were both invited to Puerto Rico for the launch of model Helena Christensen’s swimwear line last April, held at the swanky Dorado Beach Ritz-Carlton Reserve, joining guests including Brooke Shields and Chris Henchy, Malin Akerman and Jack Donnelly.
Photos show the pair looking cozy as they sat opposite each over a candlelight dinner with friends. Chapman, the mother of Weinstein’s two youngest kids, had sworn off dating after their divorce, but we’re told that Brody has been a big source of support to her. After time off the social scene, the designer behind Marchesa is happily seeing close friends in New York who have stood by her during a nightmare time.
The UK Sun first reported on their romance.
Gwyneth Paltrow makes ‘Contagion’ joke about avoiding coronavirus
Gwyneth Paltrow isn’t taking any chances with coronavirus while traveling to Europe.
The Goop founder, 47, posted a photo of herself on Instagram wearing an Airinum protective mask ($99) and said she’s traveling to Paris, presumably for Fashion Week.
“En route to Paris. Paranoid? Prudent? Panicked? Placid? Pandemic? Propaganda?” she captioned the picture.
“Paltrow’s just going to go ahead and sleep with this thing on the plane. I’ve already been in this movie,” she joked, referencing her role as patient zero in the 2011 movie, “Contagion.” “Stay safe. Don’t shake hands. Wash hands frequently.”
Marla Maples collaborating with $250-per-hour ‘shamanic healer’ Cat Faith
Donald Trump’s ex-wife Marla Maples has been collaborating with a shaman who deals with “soul loss and dealing with intrusive energies.”
We’re told Maples is friends with and has been collaborating with $250-an-hour shamanic healer Cat Faith, whose website describes her techniques as helping to “break repetitive patterns, clearing past life imprints, deconstructing limiting beliefs, healing trauma, understanding disease, soul loss and dealing with intrusive energies.”
Shamanism is a practice that involves reaching altered states of consciousness in order to interact with the spirit world and channel positive energies. Former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant Maples has even set up a new company, SoulShine Journeys, a “spiritual” travel service, and collaborated with Faith, whose medicine comes from a long line of spiritual gurus from the Inca civilization.
Former model Maples and her daughter, Tiffany Trump, were photographed on a private retreat in Majorca, Spain, last year with Faith. The trip included daily yoga sessions plus rituals and ceremonies at sacred sites. They also shot a video there for SoulShine Journeys. Maples has described the company as encouraging people to “shed what they need to shed and shift into their highest good.”
