Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, has reportedly spent just 6 hours in Sussex
She may be the Duchess of Sussex but Meghan Markle has spent just six hours in the UK county that gave her her royal title, according to a report Monday.
The former “Suits” star, 38, was bestowed her title alongside husband Prince Harry as Duke of Sussex following their glitzy, headline-grabbing royal wedding in May 2018.
But the Duke and Duchess did not actually visit the county of Sussex until October that year — five months after getting their historic titles, according to records reviewed by The Sun.
They arrived for a whistlestop tour of the region at 10:42 a.m. and left at 4:38 p.m., records show — meaning they spent two minutes shy of six hours there, The Sun said.
It remains the Duchess’ only known trip to Sussex, the UK paper insisted.
Harry, meanwhile, has been to the county on previous engagements, albeit ones before he was bestowed his Duke of Sussex title, the newspaper noted.
The royals have yet to comment on the claims.
