Beam me up some Christmas lunch: Shatner treats hungry cops

Captain Kirk turned into Santa Claus for a group of hard-working, hungry cops.
“Star Trek” legend William Shatner beamed over corned beef and pastrami sandwiches to his local police station on Christmas Day, adding the delicacies to a potluck for police, TMZ reported.
The spread also included other gifts from an LA area deli, including bagels, lox and cream cheese.
Shatner, who’s been tweeting in support of the Australian Red Cross in recent days as that country faces devastating wildfires, reportedly thanked those on the force for working on Christmas and also left behind a nice holiday card for the station.
