Maddox Jolie-Pitt’s South Korean pals have given him a nickname

Maddox Jolie-Pitt has a new name.

We’re told his college pals at his new South Korean University have christened him with a local name.

“He’s called Ducks Hu,” his grandfather, Jon Voight, told said at a pre-Golden Globes party (please excuse our best attempt at the spelling), “They have their names in South Korea, from their language. And it’s a perfect name for him: Ducks.”

Voight told us at the Gold Meets Golden event at Virginia Robinson Gardens in Beverly Hills that he’s not sure why they picked that name, “But it’s a cute thing, isn’t it?”

Jolie-Pitt, 18, began studying biochemistry at Yonsei University in South Korea in August.
