Ex-actress, hairdresser Jessica Mann is third Harvey Weinstein accuser

Prosecutors on Wednesday revealed that the third woman accusing Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault in his New York trial is Jessica Mann, a former actress and hairdresser.

Mann had been unnamed in court proceedings and documents until Assistant District Attorney Meghan Hast’s opening statement in Manhattan Supreme Court.

She was 25 and an aspiring actress from a dairy farm in Washington state when she met Weinstein at an industry party in Los Angeles.

Weinstein became “more demanding and violent” during their encounters until he allegedly raped Mann at the DoubleTree hotel in Midtown East on March, 18 2013, after injecting himself with an erection drug, the prosecutor said.

She kept her distance until November 2013, when, while working as a hairdresser, she went to Weinstein’s room to cut his hair and he “told her she owed him one more time” and raped her again, Hast said.

“Jessica buried her trauma and she tried to move on that was until October 2017 when she finally realized it was not her, it was him,” Hast said.

The fallen filmmaker, 67, faces up to life in prison for allegedly sexually assaulting Mann, production assistant Mimi Haleyi in 2006 and “The Sopranos” actress Annabella Sciorra sometime in 1993 or 1994. He has denied the allegations.
