Kylie Jenner spends $12K on Beanie Baby art

December 27, 2019

Kylie Jenner dropped $12,000 before Christmas at an auction curated by Justin Bieber and wife Hailey for charity — on Beanie Baby art.

Artist Dan Life created a bedazzled bear based on a rare, discontinued Beanie Baby called Erin, who has plush green fur with a shamrock. His version is instead encrusted in green crystals and called “Erin (Beanie).”

TMZ reported that the mystery buyer of the item is Jenner — and that Life had already dropped off the work for Bieber to deliver to the reality star and makeup mogul in person.

Life posted a pic of himself with Jenner checking out the bear at a gallery this month.

Perhaps the emerald bear was part of a holiday theme for Jenner: On Christmas Eve, she posted an image of herself and 1-year-old daughter Stormi in coordinated Ralph & Russo emerald-colored dresses.

Also in the Biebers’ auction were works by Virgil Abloh, Shepard Fairey and Takashi Murakami. Proceeds went to LIFT Los Angeles and Inner-City Arts.

Meanwhile, fans noticed that Jenner posted a video on Christmas Day showing off some of the gifts she received for the holiday — which apparently included five new Hermès bags that go for up to $250,000 a pop, plus a diamond bracelet and earrings.
