It’s tough being the second- most-famous person on a flight.

An airline passenger tells us they were on a red-eye flight from LA to Miami when other passengers went nuts when they realized that Nelly was in first class. But poor Terrence J — a former “106 & Park” and “E! News” host — went unnoticed in coach.

“Nelly was in first class and everyone freaked out over him,” says the high-flying spy. “Everyone was whispering, ‘OMG, Nelly is on the plane!’ and trying to get pics.”

They added, “Then you walk back into coach and Terrence is by a window seat and no one cared at all.”

Later that night, we hear “Hot in Herre” singer Nelly’s fanfare continued, when he joined 50 Cent onstage at E11even.
