“Bachelor in Paradise” alum Dean Unglert is on the mend after suffering a serious ski accident in Switzerland last week.

“First steps as a free man after 5 short days in the hospital,” Unglert, 26, captioned a video of him walking out of the hospital with the assistance of crutches on Sunday.

The reality star flashed the camera a smile upon his release, showing he is in good spirits.

Unglert told his followers a day before Christmas Eve that he would be spending the holidays in the hospital because of “a nasty spill” he took while skiing on the Swiss Alps.

He also said he had to undergo surgery for a dislocated hip and fractured femur. Doctors reportedly put four screws and a plate in his leg.

Unglert’s girlfriend Caelynn Miller-Keyes, whom he began dating on “Bachelor in Paradise,” shared on Instagram Sunday that she was finally reuniting with her man.

“Busted @deanie_babies out of the hospital today and explored a little bit of Switzerland,” she captioned a video of herself.

The 24-year-old reality star also posted a video on her Instagram Stories of Unglert going for a walk in their hotel room’s hallway, and another of him having a meal in bed with the caption, “ur so cute.”
