Lana Del Rey pleads for help after ‘family mementos,’ sister’s artwork stolen

Lana Del Rey and her sister had artwork and “family mementos” stolen from them — leading the singer to issue a plea on Twitter for the safe return of the valuables.

“This week, family mementos including my sisters entire retrospective were taken,” Del Rey wrote in a post late Thursday night.

“I’d love to encourage whoever took it to please consider sending any of the scans of her previous work back to us for a no questions asked reward.”

Del Rey’s younger sister, Chuck Grant, is a professional photographer based out of Los Angeles and New York City.

Grant’s work has appeared in music magazines such as Fader, Vice Magazine and Rolling Stone, according to a bio on her website.

Early in her career, the artist focused her lens on her older sister as Del Rey developed her image as a pop songstress.

“The work we lost can’t be reproduced and exists nowhere but where it was,” Del Rey wrote Thursday night.
