Lindsey Vonn proposes to hockey star fiancé: ‘Men should get engagement rings too’

December 25, 2019

Former Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn announced on Christmas Day that she proposed to her hockey star fiancé P.K. Subban — “and he said yes.”

The pair had been engaged since last August when Subban, a New Jersey Devils defenseman, proposed to her.

Vonn, 35, said in an Instagram post that on their 2-year anniversary, she “returned the favor and asked PK to marry me … and he said yes.”

“We talk about equality but actions speak louder than words,” Vonn wrote. “Men should get engagement rings too and this is what PK deserves.”

Along with the announcement, Vonn posted two photos of her and Subban posing in front of their Christmas tree with their dogs.

In one of the pictures, the hockey star is flashing his new ring.

Before her relationship with Subban, Vonn had a high-profile relationship with legendary golfer Tiger Woods.
