Amber Portwood has a very good lawyer, very good fortune or maybe a little bit of both.
About three months after the Teeh Mom OG star was arrested for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, Portwood has agreed to a plea deal.
She will therefore avoid any kind of trial, with fans across the nation wondering in response:

1. Let's Start with a Refresher
For those unaware of the details in this case, Amber was arrested early on the morning of July 5 after she got into an argument with boyfriend - and baby daddy - Andrew Glennon.
2. What Happened?
Well... sources have said Amber blamed Andrew for the family getting caught and missing a July 4 fireworks show a few hours earlier, positively going off on him in response.
3. That Feels Like an Overreaction
Yes, it does. But Portwood has at least been candid in the past about the trouble she has controlling her emotions, telling fans she has bipolar disorder and other mental health issues.
4. How Ugly Did It Get?
VERY. Glennon has said Amber hurled a shoe at his head, something she has admitted to. But he's also claimed that he was holding one-year old son James in his arms at the time and barricaded himself in the bathroom with the toddler out of fear for their safety.
5. Did Amber Just Leave Them Alone Then?
Uhhh, no. She allegedly grabbed a machete (?!?!?!?!) and used it to try and break the door down, prompting Glennon to text 911 and the authorities to arrive on the scene.
6. That Wasn't Even All, Either
Andrew has said that his girlfriend threatened to commit suicide by overdosing on clonazepam, prior to throwing all these pills back up.
