After Ben Affleck was caught on video drunkenly stumbling outside a charity Halloween party Saturday night, the former “Batman” star was spotted at a Los Angeles casino playing poker at 1 a.m. — and winning $1,500.
According to TMZ — which also captured the video of the inebriated-seeming star outside the UNICEF Masquerade Ball in West Hollywood — Affleck showed up with a mystery woman at a poker table at the Commerce casino, where he got $20,000 in chips, won $1,500 in 12 minutes and exited the joint. On Sunday morning, Affleck — who’s struggled with addiction issues — acknowledged publicly that he’d fallen off the wagon, reportedly telling paparazzi as he headed to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s home, “It’s a slip but I’m not going to let it derail me.”
A source close to the actor told us: “Ben has acknowledged he’s going to slip up from time to time … it was never as if this was simply behind him.” A pal told us of the Saturday night into Sunday a.m. scene: “It was just one crazy, not great, night.”
Earlier on Saturday, Affleck seemed to confirm our exclusive report he’s been using the celebrity dating app Raya. He posted on Instagram, “HA, you got me. I’m dating,” before making a pitch for donations to a recovery organization.
Affleck is so good at blackjack that he was banned for life from playing at the Hard Rock in Vegas.
