“I’m probably the most urban person,” interior designer Miles Redd mused during a discussion at the Central Park Women’s Committee fall luncheon on Monday.
“I’ll be the person that will be like, ‘Show me no blade of grass that doesn’t have a cement building next to it.’ I feel happy when I see plate glass and storefronts … But even as urban as I am, I still need Prozac nature. Central Park provides that kind of comfort.”
Bunny Williams also spoke at the event, in front of guests including Gillian Miniter, Elyse Newhouse, Marcia Mishaan and Margo Nederlander, at the Mandarin Oriental.
