Central Park Conservancy’s Women’s Committee held an in-person, Covid-safe picnic to help raise money Monday.

We’re told guests were spread throughout the park at several locations including the Conservatory Garden, Bethesda Terrace, and Belvedere Castle with picnic baskets set up and waiting.

Gillian Miniter, Margo Nederlander, Elyse Newhouse and Conservancy President Betsy Smith attended, with gift bags with masks fashioned from tablecloths from past luncheons.

The sold-out event raised $300,000 to support Central Park. The group’s high profile hat lunch, were women don their finest fascinators, and the Fall luncheon were canceled this year.
