Cardi B’s lyrics are apparently too vulgar for even her at times.

The rapper told Vevo’s “Footnotes” she had reservations about the hook (aka the chorus) on her foul-mouthed hit “WAP,” and even asked other artists to try to improve it.

She revealed of the lyrics that inspired the tune’s acronym: “I just didn’t like that, but … I couldn’t come up with anything else, so whatever.”

She also recorded a non-X-rated version with the words “wet and gushy.”
