“POWER” star Michael Rainey Jr. wants to get in shape for the Starz spinoff “Power Book II: Ghost,” premiering Sunday — or at least not look “like a twig” in his love scenes.

“Tariq has new love interests,” he told us of his character. “You know, I got to do those pushups to make sure I look a little cut . . . I’m not really built right now, so I just be chilling. But honestly, I’m about to start going to the gym to get brolic up on these people. I just want to get swollen, but I don’t wanna get too swole. I just wanna get a little more cut up.”

The 19-year-old star figured, “Of course I want to bring the sex appeal — you can’t be on the screen looking like a twig. Nobody really wants to see that!”
