A socialite was randomly attacked in broad daylight on the Upper East Side on Friday, Page Six is told.
Dori Cooperman — who says she has a bruised eye, ringing in her ears, arm pain, and got a brain scan after the incident — tells us she was walking with her baby and nanny near Third Avenue and 67th Street when a woman “throws me to the ground and starts to beat me up, punching me, on top of me.”
The woman was scared off by the nanny — but attacked again before a construction worker stepped in.
Cops came to the scene, but Cooperman, the daughter of banker Edwin Cooperman, says “they were 100 percent dismissive.” An NYPD spokesperson tells us, “The investigation is active and ongoing.”
