Bob Saget reacts to Candace Cameron Bure’s controversial photo with husband
Candace Cameron Bure’s handsy photo with husband Valeri Bure didn’t go unnoticed by her TV dad.
On Friday, the 44-year-old actress re-posted a photo of the couple on Instagram, in which Valeri, 46, is seen resting his hand on Bure’s breast. The image, previously dubbed “inappropriate” by critics, was met with a slew of “likes” and comments, including a cheeky reply from Bure’s “Full House” co-star, Bob Saget.
“Love you guys and congrats on second base!!!” Saget quipped.
Saget, 64, played Danny Tanner on “Full House” and the Netflix spinoff “Fuller House.” Bure appeared on both sitcoms as Danny’s eldest daughter DJ. “Fuller House” ended its five-season run this year.
Bure was met with criticism earlier this week in response to posting the controversial photo, which was deleted. She then addressed the backlash on her Instagram story.
“For all of the Christians that are questioning my post with my husband’s hand on my boob — my husband of 24 years — thinking it was inappropriate, it makes me laugh because it’s my husband. We have so much fun together,” Bure posted, according to the Daily Mail.
“He can touch me any time he wants, and I hope he does,” the actress noted, adding, “This is what a healthy, good marriage and relationship is all about.”
The two married in 1996. They share three children, including the newly engaged Lev.
