Christie’s holding $110 charity raffle … with a Picasso as the prize

February 12, 2020

Aspiring collectors can own a Picasso for $110, Page Six is told.

Christie’s is partnering with CARE for a raffle called 1 Picasso for 100 Euros to raise money to provide clean water in three African countries. Raffle tickets are sold for 100 euros (about $110), and the winner gets the priceless Picasso.

We’re told organizers anticipate selling the bulk of the tickets in the US, and the winner will be drawn in Paris on March 30.

“The odds of winning are way better than Powerball, which is 1 in 292,000,000!” an insider said.

The orgs did a similar raffle in 2013, and a Pennsylvania man took home the Picasso.
