Whoopi Goldberg celebrated her 64th birthday on Wednesday by throwing an intimate dinner party at Tao Downtown with friends including Tiffany Haddish, Jane Krakowski and Phylicia Rashad.

We’re told the “View” co-host took over part of the nightclub for the private party — swapping the banquettes for banquet tables and featuring “digitized ‘Happy Birthday Whoopi’ lettering.”

A source told us that Goldberg’s family and friends even took over DJ responsibilities for the night.

To celebrate the occasion on the air, the cast of “Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations” sang a medley of hits for the birthday girl on her ABC show.
