Will Igor Fruman be the hottest celebrity sighting at Art Basel this year?
A Page Six spy was surprised to see the shadowy Rudy Giuliani heavy — who’s awaiting trial on charges related to the Ukraine scandal — out and about in Miami with his kids and his glamorous estranged wife, Liza Naumova.
“He was wearing thick long pants,” said the source, who suggested the unseasonable trouser choice could have been to cover an ankle monitor. (Fruman’s attorney, Todd Blanche, confirmed to Page Six that he was indeed wearing a monitor.) “He was also wearing a Yankees hat” — a gift from Rudy? — “tucked low and sunglasses,” said the source. Blanche told us, “Mr. Fruman has been in constant contact with his pretrial services officer, and he has been completely compliant with the conditions of his pretrial release.”
Federal prosecutors say Belarus-born Fruman and his associate Lev Parnas, of Ukraine, created a shell company in order to give $325,000 to a pro-President Trump political action committee in May 2018. They were arrested at Dulles airport in Washington, DC, in October. It has been claimed that Giuliani asked them for help digging up dirt on Joe Biden in Ukraine.
