Thanksgiving brings people together. For better or for worse.
Many TV shows celebrate Turkey Day with special episodes that bring people together to have fun... or to bicker like crazy.
And these programs, in our unassailable opinion, delivered the most memorable Thanksgiving dinners in the history of the small screen.
Which was your favorite?
1. Friends
Oh, Monica. The Friends gang shared memories of the past at Thanksgiving dinner, and then Monica danced with a turkey on her head. But Chandler followed that up by telling her he loved her, so it was a win-win situation.
2. Fresh Off the Boat
Jessica hates when the heat is turned up on her, so you can only imagine the reaction from her when she learned early on Thanksgiving that she was hosting the whole family. There was a string of crazy things at play, but it all came together in the end. Just don't ever ask Jessica to cook Thanksgiving dinner again.
3. Modern Family
The Dunphys would like you to believe that they're the most normal family around, but they're probably the most dysfunctional. Phil and Luke told the family they would cook dinner, but Claire worried there something off about their cooking skills. To combat this, e made a backup turkey, but a third turkey was thrown in. It was a typical holiday for the family.
4. Parenthood
Parenthood was a hit because it oozed family values. Even though the characters were going through tough times in their personal lives, they managed to come together to have the least dramatic Thanksgiving dinner. It's memorable because of how well they put everything else aside to spend time together -- a rarity on TV.
5. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
Rebecca was obsessed with Josh. She moved to a whole new coast for him. At Thanksgiving, she was invited to dine with his parents. Her ultimate goal was to imply she was the best woman around, and that meant throwing Josh's girlfriend under the bus. It was a wild installment, with many twists.
6. The O.C.
The Cohen's want Ryan to have the perfect Thanksgiving, so they go to extreme lengths to pull it off. However, things take a turn when Kristen's father brings her nemesis to dinner, while Seth tries to come to terms with the fact that he was essentially dating two women. It all wound up to be a chaotic event, with everyone arguing. That's what happens when everything is built on lies.
