Cuba Gooding Jr. and his gal pal Claudine De Niro were living it up in Miami over the weekend to celebrate a new film on which they’re collaborating.
The duo hit up the music venue Ball & Chain — where Gooding hopped onstage to perform. “What’s up y’all? I’m Cuba Gooding Jr. Make some noise!” he shouted.
Sources told us that they were hanging out with pals — including “Young, Rich and Famous” star Fabian Basabe — who brought them to the venue to celebrate Gooding locking down financing on his new movie, “Steam.” Gooding will act and direct the movie, we hear, with Claudine as a producer on the flick. “They were with pals celebrating in Little Havana, and they seemed to have a great night,” an insider told us.
Cuba and Claudine were last in Miami earlier this month, causing a scene while celebrating her birthday, spies said, when they got into what looked like a tiff and she stormed off. (Gooding’s lawyer reportedly said that Claudine simply got a “little overly playful.”) Gooding’s due in court on Jan. 22 to fight back against alleged sexual-assault crimes.
