Tiffany’s shuttering iconic Blue Box Cafe during renovations

November 18, 2019

There will be no breakfast at Tiffany’s for the next two years, Page Six has learned.

The iconic Blue Box Cafe in the jeweler’s Fifth Avenue store will shut down after the holidays. Tiffany & Co. will relocate to 6 E. 57th St. while the famed space undergoes a massive renovation.

But there will be no eatery at its temporary home. The cafe, which is on the fourth floor, will only return in 2021 when the flagship reopens.

Currently, there’s a 30-day wait for the cafe, one of the hottest spots in the city, where customers can have breakfast for $29 — with options from a smoked salmon bagel to avocado toast — as well as lunch and tea.
