Mister Rogers’ wife says he “would have really loved” the new Tom Hanks movie about him.

Joanne Rogers was the life and soul of the party at a Cinema Society screening of “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.” “I think he would have really loved it, don’t you?” she told Page Six of the film, which is already getting awards buzz. Rogers passed away in 2003.

Co-stars Matthew Rhys — with partner Keri Russell — Susan Kelechi Watson and Chris Cooper all attended the film and a bash at Le District, alongside director Marielle Heller.

They were joined by Alexander Skarsgård, Sarah Silverman, Sofia Coppola, Katie Couric, Grace Coddington, Jennifer Esposito and Amy Ryan. Mrs. Rogers was among the last to leave.
