He has earned the honor of being name People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive!
The publication announced its annual award and recipient on Tuesday evening, taking the entertainment world by storm and confusion.
John Legend can definitely sing and he seems like a pretty awesome guy with all his activism and all -- but Sexiest Man Alive? Really?!?
“I was excited, but I was a little scared at the same time because it’s a lot of pressure,” the artist told the magazine in response, referencing last year's winner and adding:
“Everyone’s going to be picking me apart to see if I’m sexy enough to hold this title. I’m following Idris Elba, which is not fair and is not nice to me!”

Legend is openly in love with wife Chrissy Teigen. He gushes over her all the time.
He's a dedicated father to three-year-old daughter Luna and 18-month-old son Miles and is prominently involved in prison reform issues around the country.
