Guests at the grand opening of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., got a double dose of Johnny Depp on Thursday.

Spies told Page Six that a Depp impersonator showed up as “Pirates of the Caribbean” character Jack Sparrow, making everyone at the opening do a double-take.

“He looked just like him. He walked the red carpet and was taking photos with fans. Everyone thought it was him,” a spy told Page Six. The real Depp then actually did show up to the event — sans costume.

Jeremy Piven, Morgan Freeman and the genuine Depp were just some of the many celebs who took part in a ceremonial “guitar smash” to open the property before watching fireworks and a light show on the guitar-shaped tower. Bella Thorne, Tyson Beckford, Brandi Cyrus, Andy Cohen, Sofía Vergara, Joe Perry and Khloé Kardashian were also there. Jay-Z is having his Shawn Carter Foundation benefit at the same hotel in November.
