Jennifer Lawrence marries Cooke Maroney in Rhode Island

October 19, 2019

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney reportedly tied the knot Saturday in a lavish, star-studded wedding in Newport, Rhode Island.

The Oscar-winning actress, 29, and the art gallery director, 34, wed at the swanky and historic Belcourt of Newport mansion, according to People.

The 150-person guest list included Adele, Kris Jenner, Amy Schumer, Emma Stone and Ashley Olsen, according to People. On Friday, the couple’s famous friends — including Nicole Richie and Cameron Diaz — were photographed arriving in Rhode Island for the nuptials.

Lawrence, who is the face of Dior, wore a dress by the designer.

Last month, as Page Six exclusively reported, Lawrence and Maroney were spotted at New York City’s marriage bureau with two security guards, a photographer and another friend — prompting speculation they were there to tie the knot.

Lawrence first sparked engagement rumors in February, thanks to a massive new diamond on her left ring finger, and Page Six exclusively revealed the news shortly after.

The “Joy” actress showed off her Alison Lou ring — which is speculated to be worth $60,000 to $100,000 — at Paris Fashion Week later that month.

As Page Six exclusively reported last year, Lawrence and Maroney — who works as the director of the high-end Gladstone Gallery on the Upper East Side — have been together since at least May 2018.

At the couple’s engagement party in May, Lawrence actually wore a wedding gown — a long-sleeve blush style ($2,300) — from her cousin’s brand L. Wells Bridal, prompting buzz she might wear a dress by the designer on her big day. But, as People reported, she ended up choosing Dior for her big day.

Lawrence previously dated director Darren Aronofsky, 50, who directed her in the controversial film “Mother!” They were together for a year and remained friends after they split.

After they broke up, Lawrence alluded to the fact that working together may have been the reason they couldn’t last.

The “Hunger Games” star was also romantically involved with Chris Martin and Nicholas Hoult in the past.
