Felicity Huffman: Networks battle to score post-prison interview with ‘Desperate Housewives’ star

October 26, 2019

Felicity Huffman may be a convicted felon, but to news networks, she’s TV gold.

Everyone from CNN’s Anderson Cooper to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos and NBC’s Savannah Guthrie courted the disgraced TV star before her 11-day sentence at a low-security prison outside San Francisco, California, TMZ reported.

According to TMZ, Gayle King argued that “CBS This Morning” was less “salacious” than competitors’ shows.

In May, the “Desperate Housewives” actress pleaded guilty to fraud conspiracy in a nationwide college admissions scandal. She admitted to paying $15,000 to cheat on her daughter’s SAT exam.

But sources tell TMZ that Huffman hasn’t decided if she will even do an interview and will likely opt-out. She served just 11 days out of her two-week sentence and still has 250 hours of community service left to complete.
