People are out and about, getting drunk in other time zones and living in the future while some of us await the dawning of a new age: 2020.
It is customary for people to pretend that a new year signifies rebirth and change, prompting them to set unrealistic goals for completion in the next 365 days. We at Pajiba are no exception but decided to take a more attainable go at making resolutions. Well, those of us that are still dicking around in Slack for the holidays did, that is.
Jodi
I resolve to treat every day like New Year's Eve, believing in new beginnings and drinking until my liver weeps as my ancestors do at my wasted potential.
Kate
I vow to spend my birthday at the Twilight house in Forks, and yes, that is a REAL resolution, too.
Ursula
My new New Year/life resolution is to never wear heels again!
Emily
I resolve to live my life with Ronan Farrow's avenging angel tenacity, and Jon Lovett's excellence at fast-food eating.
Then everyone started talking about Rise of Skywalker and things petered off. (Heh heh, petered...)
At any rate, feel free to share your own resolutions with us. And if you're already living in the future: how are things there?
