Mayor de Blasio may have decreed that city restaurants must prohibit indoor dining indefinitely, but it isn’t stopping husband and wife Michele and Anisa Iuliano from opening their latest eatery with a social-distancing twist.

The restaurateurs behind Gnoccheria will open Ampia Restaurant & Rooftop in the Financial District Wednesday. A “sprawling 4,500-square-foot outdoor rooftop terrace” will feature “individual greenhouses for a social distance dining experience,” said an invite to a tasting. But “your safety [and] comfort is our top priority, so no pressure if you are not comfortable dining out right now.”
