Russell Westbrook is the latest NBA star to move into Hollywood as a producer. The former Oklahoma City Thunder player will produce a docuseries about the 1921 race massacre in Tulsa, Okla., according to production company Blackfin.

The series will coincide with the 100th anniversary of the massacre — known as the single worst incident of racial violence in US history.

Stanley Nelson will direct the project, called, “Terror in Tulsa: The Rise and Fall of Black Wall Street.”
