The distributor behind Oscar sensation “Parasite” has won a bidding war for the upcoming film, “Spencer,” to star Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana.
The company, Neon, teamed with Topic Studios to pay over $4 million for US rights, according to Deadline. The movie — which follows three critical days in Diana’s life in the ‘90s when she decided her marriage wasn’t working — will be directed by Pablo Larraín as written by Steven Knight (“Eastern Promises”).
